Tension and a new stage…
This volume did a good job of developing the characters while resolving some of the tension. Then a new stage was set with Mitsuki promising to participate on the festival committee. We also received insights into Aya, which made him a more sympathetic and less arrogant character. Overall, the balance was good. My largest complaint is that Mitsuki is so wishy-washy. Although Mitsuki is aware of the problem, as long as she keeps pressing forward the issue doesn't bother me. The trouble comes when the boys kabedon their way into her heart, forcefully grabbing her wrist, invading her space, or surprise hugging her from the front, side, and behind. This girl is a walking lovedoll to them. Sometimes she comments on it and complains to them about it, but often, she is starry eyed or flustered. As a dad of daughters, it troubles me seeing a female character written this way when assault is such a scarring issue for so many. Why then do I give the series ★★★★☆? Art, character development, pacing, dialogue, and plot all score high marks. I'm also probably being oversensitive.

👍💯
Definitely another good volume to this rom com/ drama, plus I like the basketball theme too. Last chapter was great how it alluded to a showdown between two of the characters.

Review
The friend date was cute with the fireworks, and Mitsuki and Aya talking more about their past. Towa getting jealous is adorable. Love how all of the friends hung out and lit fireworks. Illustrations still amazing!
