I finally ordered this and so glad I did. It looks better than pictured. Sturdy metal, quality rectangular serving plates included. Put together (no instructions needed) in less than 10 seconds. Great for movie night with the kids or entertaining guests over for dinner and dessert. Mini cheesecake, brownies or cupcakes look elegant just by putting them on this 3 tier serving tray. Fruits and veggies, too. Exceeded my expectations. A must have if food you're presentation is important to you. Lots of compliments. Again, so glad I purchased this. Beautiful trays! I bought two for use at an open house and I’m keeping them for future parties. They hold a lot of food and look very classy. I got compliments on how great they looked! I also like that the rack folds down for storage and the trays are sturdy ceramic.

I like that the metal base can be set up so the trays line up straight in a row, or can be angled so the plates are slightly offset and display diagonally. I can see now why this is a popular piece. These tiered serving trays are perfect for hosting. They don’t take up much table space, and the different levels make it easy to separate out a variety of starters. Very convenient and nice-looking for parties.

I've now used this tray set three different times. The first time was for a wedding shower for my son and his bride. Then at their rehearsal dinner and most recently at a community garage sale where I sold baked goods. I love this set up. It's so classy. The set is heavy duty (thickness/weight)/sturdy. It's the perfect size for any event and the color is neutral.
