Goldilocks projector!
I previously had and N1S pro and was unhappy with it. Needless to say I sent it back during the return window and I said I wouldn't buy another projector from JMGO, however when I saw the specs and the price on the N1S 4K I had to at least give it a try, and man I'm glad I did because this perfect balance of resolution, brightness, price, and portability. After having the N1S 4K for about a week now I'm extremely pleased. Pros: 1. Packs a punch with brightness 1100 ISO lumens(1375 ANSI) makes a usable picture even in moderately lit conditions. 2. It's much smaller than the N1S pro (around the same size as the XGIMI Halo series). 3. Has a 1/4 20 mount on the bottom to easily mount it to most standard tripods and projector ceiling mounts. 4. Has built-in Google TV OS and allows Native Netflix app to be used without workarounds and in full 4K resolution. 5. Has very decent audio quality with duel speakers that produce enough volume to fill a normal sized family room with out sounding tinny or distorting. Cons: 1. Google TV OS can be laggy at times, but not all the time. 2. No backlight on the remote control 3. No optical zoom or lense shifting. (But is to be expected at this size and price point. 4. Probably not the best choice for a more permanent installation as there are better brighter options for a true home theater projecter that doesn't need to be as portable as this. 5. Lacks an internal battery. I would have like to have seen at least a modular option that would have attached somehow to the base. You can however use adapter to be able to use this with a power bank. Overall if you want a really great and bright portable projector that comes without any major caveats, then I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMEND THIS UNIT!!!

Freedom to Watch, Wherever I Am
I've been using the JMGO N1S 4K projector lately and honestly, I'm obsessed. I don't have a TV in the bedroom, so I wanted something that was easy to move around and super simple to use. After doing a ton of research and ruling out the clunky, heavy ones or the ones that can't handle light, this one just made the most sense. It nails both the features and the price. What sold me first was the built-in smart gimbal system. It auto-focuses and auto-corrects the image no matter how you tilt or turn it, even when I aim it at the ceiling. You don't need a tripod or stack of books, just drop it on a nightstand or table and you're good to go. The thing only weighs about 4.4 lbs, so it's super easy to carry around. Yesterday I was watching in the living room, today it's chilling on my dresser in the bedroom. Total flexibility. Now let's talk about picture quality. This thing is 4K with triple laser tech, and the image is just chef's kiss. Bright, super colorful, crazy sharp. You actually see details like the gradient in the sunset or moonlight peeking through clouds, stuff I'd totally miss on a tablet or laptop. At night, projecting on a plain wall feels like I've got a mini theater at home. Even during the day, as long as I pull the curtains, the image is still super clear. It honestly feels like having an IMAX experience without ever leaving the house. It's not just for movies. I use it to play music, do workouts, and even game a little. All in all, the N1S 4K totally fits my homebody lifestyle. Being able to lounge in bed and still get that big-screen vibe is the dream.

First time user—obsessed with the IMAX experience!
First time using a projector at home—and I’m really impressed. Pros: Compact and easy to carry, the case is so light that I think I could bring it outdoor Projects clearly on different surfaces (even blackout blinds, what a surprise!) Auto focus adjustment works smoothly and quite smart in fact Plays directly from DVD players, which is perfect for my library movie nights The color is stunning, even when projecting to the shades between sunset and evening (see the photos). Convenient to have YouTube, Netflix, google TV, Prime video, and other options The price seemed to be the most affordable option among similar products for home use Cons I’m not very tech-savvy, so I found the setup guide a bit too simple. Also, the voice input didn’t work until I realized you have to log in first—this should be made more obvious. screen mirroring is also possible with extra app. My tip: don’t judge too quickly. Once you get past the initial setup, it’s actually very user-friendly. Overall: If you’re looking for a lightweight projector with solid performance that doesn’t require a screen, this one is worth trying. I’m quite happy with it. As you can tell, I don't know many technology terms, but my eyes and other sensations have approved how fabulous the experiences have been.

Honestly incredible
Oh boy. Do yourself a favor and buy this! I'm not sponsored and I paid full price, but man is it worth every penny. Super compact, lightweight and portable. Excellent picture quality, brightness and colors. The UI is fairly snappy, except for when you have a 4k HDR video playing it does slow down a bit with menu inputs. The fan noise is extremely quiet, and actually nonexistent a good part of the time. The speakers are decent, not amazing but certainly fine for what it is. I previously bought the Dangbei nano and despite all the glowing reviews on that thing I was extremely underwhelmed. 1080p just looks absolutely terrible these days and I can't go back to it. This JMGO knocks the socks off that Dangbei and it's not even close. The Dangbei is being returned and I'm sticking with this JMGO.

4K Projector with tall claims in under 1k!!
Pros: --- Price: There isn't any 4k tripple laser projector in the market at under 1k. --- Colors: The best I've seen so far, can rival any large screen TV. --- Gimbal Design: Adds to the projector's charm and portability as you don't need extra stands. Also comes with a carrying box making it easy to take this 4.4lb cinema on the go. --- Overall wow factor: Great design, build quality, on the go projector that can produce amazing 4k, deep colors and high contrast pictures at an affordable price. Cons: --- Brightness: Ok for 100" images in dark or dim lit rooms but feels totally washed out as indoor lights are tunred on. I found Danbei Atom projector at a lower price point to be much brighter. This a BIG issue as casual viewing happens in moderate lighting. --- Sound: While sound is good enough for casual watching for cinema like feel you'll need external speakers.

Small Projector, Endless Scenes
I used to think my TV feature wall could only fit a 75 inch TV, but when it came to watching movies, it always felt like something was missing. I wanted a projector for that true cinematic atmosphere, but I was hesitant because good ones can be pricey and inconvenient. After doing my research, I came across JMGO and found exactly what I was looking for: the compact yet stunning JMGO N1S 4K. Only after I turned it on did I truly understand what it means to bring a private theater into your everyday life. As a movie lover, I have pretty high standards for image quality. The pure RGB laser and 4K combo make every pixel come alive. When night falls and I pull the linen curtains shut, the velvet gowns in old films suddenly reveal every thread's texture. Raindrops tracing down a car window look so three-dimensional, it feels like I could reach out and touch them. The built-in algorithmic gimbal with a 127° wide adjustment angle and a 1,000,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio means I can project on any wall or even the ceiling. It is small and easy to carry, so I can effortlessly move it to the bedroom. Any blank wall becomes a clear screen and it auto-adjusts the image perfectly whether it is front or side projection. And all this for under $1,000, it truly delivers a premium cinema experience without the premium price tag. When I was a kid, I dreamed of the freedom to choose for myself. Now I understand: choice means turning 1,500 square feet into my own light and shadow museum. It means transforming an ordinary Saturday night into a never-ending private movie night. Turns out, the most luxurious kind of romance is letting everyday life become the most beautiful screen of all.

An Excellent 4k projector
Ok, this was my first 4K projector, and I'm very much willing to give it 5 stars. FYI, for those maybe a bit serious with their setup, this might not apply, since my review is based on someone that upgraded from a very small portable 1080p projector, still, it was worth a 5 for me as most cons are negligible. PROS -Once you press the power button on the remote, it turns on almost immediately (my last projector used to load for about 10-20 seconds). -Image auto adjusts, focus and keystone (my last projector didn't). -The remote is Bluetooth (my last one wasn't). -You could point it up the ceiling (I watch it while lying down on my bed). -Audio is not bad, though I’m not really an audiophile, so my standards aren’t that high. -Very bright for an at home use, (it's bright enough even at the lowest level, at least for my use case, bedroom, all lights turned off). -There’s a carrying case included, but overall, the case could be a little bit smaller. -The fan is very quiet. -Google TV, so multiple apps are already usable from the start. CONS -The remote has that matte rubber texture that I’m sure will peel off or look ugly after a few years of touching. -Media controls are a little weird, there’s no fast forward, rewind button when I’m playing videos from an SSD or on YouTube. -The remote isn’t backlit, so I usually have to turn on a light if I’m looking for a specific button, but I’m getting used to just feeling for the buttons. -I point it to the ceiling, and the ports are at the back, so the HDMI cable hits the base or the table if I tilt the projector too far up. -No USB C port, and it would be amazing if power can be provided from USB C as well. -I’d like some additional color options if possible. -No internal battery

Cozy Home Vibes? This 4K Projector Nailed It!
There's nothing better than curling up with your favorite person for movie night, especially now that we've got a massive, ultra-HD screen right in our living room. Seriously, is there anything more relaxing? For me, picture quality is everything. As someone who loves visually stunning films, I demand true-to-life colors with no compromises. That's why I've been blown away by the JMGO N1S 4K. After putting it through its paces, I can confidently say that 4K combined with Triple Laser Tech delivers unbeatable clarity. With 110% BT.2020 color gamut and an insane 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, it offers twice the color range and three times the depth of standard LED projectors. Movie nights at home have become a total game-changer. Watching My Salinger Year was absolutely breathtaking. And even with my floor-to-ceiling windows, daytime viewing is no problem. At 1100 ISO lumens, the image stays crisp and bright. Just draw the curtains and enjoy an instant private cinema. The difference is night and day. The built-in gimbal stand is also genius. You can swivel it in any direction without having to stack books or get the angle just right. Move it to the bedroom, place it on a nightstand, and it automatically corrects the image. Whether I'm lounging on the couch or curled up in bed, the picture stays perfect. When I'm not binge-watching, the Dolby HiFi Audio transforms my space into a concert venue. With crystal-clear highs and punchy bass, it completely changes the atmosphere. I throw on a Spotify playlist and suddenly my living room feels like an upscale listening lounge or the pregame for an epic house party. This isn't just a home theater upgrade. It's a total lifestyle game-changer. 10 out of 10, would buy again in a heartbeat.
