Great value.
For the price, surprisingly functional. Even comes with a carry case. Put past the ball of your foot so doesn't slide off.

Marginal, but useful
And my first review I gave the cleats two stars. I should raise it to 2.5 to 3 stars. Even though the cleats clog up they do work somewhat and keeping me from slipping on ice and snow. I just have to walk slowly. I do feel more secure wearing them, Especially going downhill slightly on snow and ice. Even clogged up with impacted ice, the cleats do dig into hard snow but not ice. You just can't walk around on ice, on these particular cleats. Sometimes there is ice hard ice just below the snow. For those conditions I'm going to try out some cleats that are just sharp plates that can't fill up. But these cleats I'm writing about now are useful and easy to put on. I should have given them three stars to begin with. The price is very reasonable. You have to make sure you make them very tight or they fall off. False killed 46,000 people last year, many probably in the snow. I slipped and almost fell 2 days ago on ice just getting out of my car. If I hadn't had my hands on the steering wheel and door I would have. Don't use your handicap ramp in the ice going downhill or up even with spikes. Use your steps. These cleats are good for light snow conditions which are very frequent. At least Amazon sells a variety of cleats that you can't buy in any stores around where I live including Walmart, Lowes Rural King. You've got to have something as even the parking lots are snowy and icy and you can fall. Thank you.

Worn 3 Times, Walked Out of 3 Times...
OK...The metal spikes are STURDY and really dig into the ice and snow. The major problem is the attachment style of these cleats. Even if you strap them down to the point of crushing your foot inside of your boot, they manage to loosen and you wind up walking out of them without noticing. I've tried this with a pair of soft topped "fur lined ankle boots", a pair of hard rubber toed traditional mid-knee snow boots, and a pair of generic low top hiking shoes. I've walked around my driveway and wore them while shoveling/clearing the driveway of snow. Each time I had to wind up scanning around to see where the cleat managed to fall off at. I tried them again, strapping them down as tight as possible and making sure they "stuck" properly while going to the Zoo. In the time it took to get out of my car, and walk across the parking lot I had lost one cleat. I doubled back and found that it made it a good 6 yards before abandoning ship. Not trudging through snow drifts or anything, just a few inches of snow mush in a flat parking lot. I really wanted these to work. It's so inconvenient to take off traditional style cleats and then have to keep them in a pocket while you go indoors. But these? These aren't it either, fam.

Granddaughter loves them - says they work wonderfully on ice and snow.
Work well but not for me - I have a 1 inch build up on my right shoe due to a short leg - wouldn't fit my shoes - gave them to my grandaughter who like me lives in Wisconsin and works good or bad weather - whe loves them for ice or snow

Rusty
Good traction but these cleats are hard to keep from sliding off my boots. I discovered the metal cleats drip rusty water on the floor when they are wet. I would not buy them again for both these reasons.

No more falling off.
After reading all the bad reviews, I decided to buy them anyway. I thought, do they really just fall off? Yes they do!!! I fixed that by attaching some elastic straps to the rubber part. The straps go around the back of my boots. Being it's elastic, it's easy to take off. No way they are going to fall off now. Without the elastic, yes they are going to fall off.

Compact and light - can always have them in a pocket and put on and off in seconds. Most important, they do the job.

They don't stay on your boots no matter how tight you make them. 10 steps and they are falling off.

small and compact & each comes with their own pouch. Keep in the car in the moment you need to use some on ice. They fit on my very large feet but you must really keep them tight or they will fly off (first use, found that issue). I use them on sneakers when the parking lots are slippery. Easier to walk on carpet than the full foot ones I have for bad ice spots. I'd recommend anyone keep these in their backpack/car for emergency use.

This product was purchased as a gift for a friend. The product looks to be of good quality with metal star shaped spikes . It looks like it should work well. I have personally used a variety of styles at work during icy conditions.
