I had to use this today Someone punctured the back of their wrist and cut a vein, bleeding was rapid and pooling. This product has an extremely abundant amount of powder per pack, enough for multiple small lacerations of a large wound. in my case it it was a small, but deep puncturing wound. Multiple passes with the powder with pressure sealed the wound in under a minute. I never thought I would have to use this, I'm thankful I had it. More-so this is an amazing tool under pressure. I had little time to assess the wound. So I defaulted to a tourniquet to slow the flow, and this powder and basic pressure. (Just remember to apply pressure, I was panicking and forgot to apply pressure to the powdered wound, and wasted far more time then was necessary)

My husband is a logger, he keeps this in his first aid kit, I keep it in our house in case of an accident on our farm. And it's made in america.
