It is not heavy at all, it goes on very smooth, melts into the skin.. the scent is very strong, but its a really great minty smell that I do not mind at all. I absolutely love this product. Our baby gas never gotten a rash, only the start of one when she started solids, all we had to do was put on a little bit extra and it was nearly gone the next day. Forever grateful for this product. I'm never without. I would highly recommend it. And no nasty ingredients all natural which is why I went for it in the first place. I just can't get over how good this balm is.
