GRITION Closed Toe Women's Hiking Sandals are waterproof and adjustable. The closed toe protects from bumps and scrapes and wraps around enough to keep my baby toe in. The cross straps are stretchy and conforming to my foot if they swell a little. The ankle and heel straps adjust to allow for a custom fit. The foot bed insole is soft and comfortable. The Grey/Pink color is very subtle and will coordinate with many outfits. I wear 9.5 to 10 and these are a 10. These will function well for hiking and walking. Update: Sept. 18, 2025 I've enjoyed wearing these sandals, however, the back of the ankle strap does slip down a little due to the sharp curve where the strap comes off the foot bed. This hasn't been a significant issue, though, and it may sit on other womens feet differently.

My wide foot and high instep was - I thought - a challenge for finding a comfortable closed toe shoe. I was cautiously optimistic when I read reviews/Rufus said that these shoes might work. I am thrilled that they are very comfortable and even loose enough that I need to use the adjustable strap to tighten the bindings! Not ugly either - all boons for me. FYI - I have attached a cushioned insole as they are flat inside with no real arch support.

Very light shoes, comfortable, and good-looking. Not for walking. I don't mind the ridged sole, I find it massaging my feet, but indeed I can see how these are great for going in the water, and not made for walks on concrete or asphalt: They are just too thin, and light. However they are not poor quality at all. Overall happy, and great for a run to the store or the mailbox, or going to the lake.

The sandal is pretty, very light and comfy. Unfortunately the ring in the back turns and will break the material of the shoe soon. The sole is more for street use than trekking. My foot slides backwards a bit because of the shape. Still a nice sandal, but certainly not a trekking sandal.

I was hesitant because I’ve only bought Khombu in the past. After my dog ate my favorite sandals and with an upcoming Black Hills trip it was time to buy. Because of price I first bought a Dream Pair but it had a strange ledge on the outer edge of the foot area. I returned them and after looking at reviews and pictures gave the Grition a chance. I love them I wear a size 7 and my foot measures 9.5 inches. I ordered a 6.5 because these sandals in any brand run bigger. I chose the grey color because it coordinates well. They are comfortable, easy to slip on and off with the adjustable Velcro back, the quality seems as good as my other brand. Great versatility because I wear them all day in the house, shopping, driving and vacationing. I couldn’t be more pleased!

I was needing a pair of hiking sandals for a trip to Panama but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. These really worked out well. Comfortable and supported me on my hike in the jungle.

Bought these 2 years ago. Ordering another pair today. Great for everyday sneakers. Probably should’ve replaced before summer, but holding up fine. Definitely showing signs of wear, but I wear everyday. Size is true to actual. Easy to clean. Just spray with whatever cleaner you use, rub off dirty spots, rinse, and sit outside for the day to dry. Comfortable, easy on and off. Don’t know about hiking, but wouldn’t recommend because dirt will get under foot. Well worth the money spent. Great summer sneaker/sandal. Only issue is the velcro straps are too long. Not necessary.

Let me start by saying I have a wide foot. I usually have to go up a size or two to get a wide enough shoe when they don't come in widths. I still went up one size (I wear and 8 and ordered a 9, but they fit from the start. My sister has Keen's and loves them, but I didn't want to pay that much for a summer shoe. I love these! Very comfy! I love the color (it goes with almost everything)! I got gray/pink. I wore them a couple times to get used to them before wearing them all day at Cedar Point. I never got any blisters. They stay on well and can be adjusted if need be, however I never needed to make them smaller. Great in any type of weather and seem to be holding up well after a couple months of use. They are my go to shoe most days!
