I got this to replace the McCormick's BBQ rub I used to get at the store in small bottles. The "rub" and "seasoning" are different, but not by very much. I did like the "rub" a little better, but can't find it in large bottles like this and those little bottles are very expensive. I sprinkle this generously on wings with a little flour before putting them in my air fryer. The sugar content caramelizes really nicely in the high heat so that I get delicious, crispy wings right out of the freezer. I haven't tried a ton of different seasonings, but I did experiment with 5 or 6 varieties when I first started making wings in the air fryer. The BBQ rub was the best, followed very closely by this BBQ Seasoning. Close enough that I'm not ever tempted to spend a little extra money for a small bottle of rub in the store. Very happy with it, I'm on my third or fourth bottle of it. It also keeps very well on the shelf after it's opened. During periods when wings were hard to come by, and still now that they've double in price, an open bottle can sit for a few months on the shelf before I finish it and they never have any problems.

I cannot cook ribs in the oven without these spice and I can no longer find it in any grocery store. I used to buy it from Wally World but this was the only way now. When I cook pork ribs, I wrap them in foil and use white vinegar and lime juice and cook for one hour. Then I remove, open, drain and shake this spice on the ribs and lightly over with foil all around for one hour. Then I brush on some sauce for the last 15-30 and the ribs are deelish!

Excellent seasoning, I use it mostly on pork chops that I air fry. 👍

I tried using it like "Shake N Bake" and it got all clumpy... so after I put it on a roasting pan and squished the clumps, I sprinkled more on the naked parts... Turned out nice...Not life changing...Not profound... I will add some siracha or sambal next time....It just needed a little more Its not a rub. Don't try using it that way
