This laser module is great for doing intricate detail lines on metal jewelry. It does an amazing job and is very easy to work with once you figure out how to swap it out with the standard laser module that your unit is equipped with.

The packaging was great, very well protected. Lightburn is very easy to setup also. I have the 20w and will most likely think about the 40w when I can afford it.

It is a PAIN in the..... to remove and swap out. If you go between both lasers frequently, this is NOT for you. I actually purchased a small electric screwdriver set to make this easier but that failed too. The wires to this are VERY delicate and I can only imagine them breaking after no more than 10 swaps. The same goes for the board that the very thin wires connect too. Ther are a total of 6 screws that need to come off and on to complete the swap. and two clips for the wires to fail. As for the laser itself. Works REALLY good. Engraves really well. But for swapping, its too much of a pain and I cant imagine how much it would coast to replace any of the components that are involved in the swap.

This cost a lot of money, and it just isn't doing what it said it could do. I've tried numerous settings with no luck. And it is not as easy as they say to change it out.
