This kibble became a hot commodity for even my adult dog- who rarely likes the taste of any kibble. My theory is that the freeze-dried raw food gives it more flavor than overcooked bits in traditional kibble. My puppy has exclusively been on this since the day we brought him home about a month ago. I really like that the ingredients on the bag are ones I know, can pronounce, and are whole and nutrient-dense foods. The only drawback that I can find is that the puppy version is difficult to buy in person locally. I always find the adult and other Stella & Chewey toppers, but the puppy blend is hit or miss if. You may want to keep that in mind and avoid running low.

I have a VERY picky puppy. As in, he turns down about 90% of the treats I've tried to give him and completely stopped eating the food I was feeding him before, so I decided to try this. It was a hit out the gate. I think tried the Raw Blended version and realized it was just this same food + their meal mixers, so now I buy the 3lb bag of this, mix it with 3.5oz of their meal mixers, and 1oz of blended freeze-dried fruits (apples, bananas, and mixed berries). I crumble up the mixers, break the freeze dried fruit into small pieces, mix it all together, and feed it to him. He loves it and I know he's getting the nutritious food, healthy protein, and superfoods that he needs.

My chihuahua loves this food. Good ingredients, good price. He's about a year old now and has been on this since I got him. He's healthy and a good weight.

My new Shih Tzu-Chihuahua puppy rescue absolutely loves Stella and Chewy’s kibble. The small bites are just the right size for her little mouth, and for the first time, she’s finishing all her food. She was picky before, but since switching, mealtime is no longer a struggle. Our vet also approved it at her last appointment, which gave me even more confidence. Five stars all the way.
