wobbles bad right out of the box and the bearing fell right out on the floor
Ok I’m rewriting my review to better inform, As far as the quality of this product is very cheap, very light weight metal that does bend very easy, the instructions are horrible, some of the brace holes don’t line up and up close it really doesn’t look that great. I purchase this windmill from 123stores and the only good thing I can say about them that they ship quickly, actually the manufacture shipped it, and it is nearly if impossible to return anything to 123stores. The instructions says that do not return to store but to call or email them for support which in both cases is a total joke, never did talk to anyone on the phone and the one email I got just stated that if I needed more support to contact them which is why I contacted them in the first place, so now the details of problems: The bearing that goes into the hub which the blades fasten too, is a bearing that is used in electric sanders and hobby projects and not really made for outdoor use, the windmill is designed for only one bearing which is why the blades wobble, I did a little modifying and purchased another bearing (6000z Bearing and can be purchased on Amazon) added washers on both sides of the hub (Originally just a cotter pin held the blade hub on and in the case of mine the bearing would fall right out of the hub) and made a spacer. Which this took care of 99% of the wobble, each leg is in 3 sections that slips together which is part of the problem of the brace holes not lining up, I purchase 8 bolts and and bolted the legs together which made the holes line up better, made it a little more solid, the stakes that hold the windmill to ground are worthless, I made a cement pad with bent treated rod in pad and I fasten the windmill down solid, A easier way would be to a local building supply store and purchase some re-rod, cut it into 18 inch peaces blend one end and drive thought the hole in the windmill legs on a angle. My personal opinion is spend a more on a higher quality windmill and you will happier in the long run

Very nice but incorrect parts in box.
During assembly it was very clear that the X bars provided in the box were an inch too long. Called the company and they have promised to ship the correct ones and commented that it was a problem with a whole batch of these. Windmill is very nice, should be great if parts are shipped.

SPORTSMAN WINDMILL
When I read the post for this windmill I was a little concerned but this thing beat my expectations. Much easier with two people assembling, I wouldn't want to do it by myself. Highly recommend and it looks great in my yard. Plus, I think it keeps the gophers away.

Handsome but not heavy duty
Complicated assembly with inadequate directions. Be careful about assembling cotter pin under ball bearing cover -- it must have protruded, got caught, sheared off and windmill structure crashed to ground. Blades are a little flimsy. I still give it 4 stars because of excellent price and it looks gorgeous.

Piece of crap
The welds are so poorly done that they broke during assembly. Had to reweld every weld. The head had to be put together with a bizillian screws. The leg pieces and cross members weren't the correct length to fit together, so assembly was impossible. Ended up throwing it away and ordering the John Deere version. For the John Deere, the assembly was a breeze. The head was already assembled. The legs and cross members fit perfectly. It's very sturdy and well-made. Don't order the Sportsman - spend a bit more and get the John Deere instead.

Nice looking
It is nice looking but does not hold up against heavy winds. Mine has blown over several times, even though we used the ground stakes included and extra weight to help with the balance against tip over, which bends the blades and affects the operation of the wind mill. Would probably be okay for an area without heavy winds.

Love our Wind Mill
Very happy with our wind Mill. It needs better anchors. Longer ones. The Wind tends to blow it over. We painted our Yellow. The Green blended with the grass to much. But we love it.
