Works well in pizza dough
I mixed at a 1:5 ratio (crickets:flour) into the bread flour for home made pizza dough. It turns the dough as light tint of brown. Looks more like a whole wheat pizza dough. Aside from that it cooked and worked exactly like any other dough. No noticeable taste and my kids said it was even better than usual.

Tasty high protein, low carb alternative to flour
Delicious, nutritious, and environmentally friendly! I love to bake but try to stay low carb, and decided to try this. I made cinnamon muffins (see pic) and there was a unique light protein taste, but they were very good! I brought some into work and my co-workers, with some encouragement, tried them and they loved them too. The only weird thing is that when you bite into them, they make a little chirping sound. Just kidding!

Cricket Powder
I wasn't wearing my glasses so I thought for the price I was buying 2.2# of this product, not 0.22#. It's 1 cup when I put it into a measuring cup not packed down, and it says on the label the serving size is 10 servings per package. Do better at reading the nutrition label than I did. It's a fairly good source of potassium, but I thought it would be high in protein (0 protein). The taste is interesting, somewhat like nuts. I feel like rubbing my legs together to break into song.

Pleasant Bland Taste, Perfect Complete Protein
too expensive but really nice protein source, better than whey. it has a nutty bland flavor which is hard to mix with food. I like to add it to strong flavored food like mexican/indian/korean. goes well in a whey smoothie. I really like the fact that it is sustainable and keeps my energy even. I am less tired and have reduced my meat and fish intake dramatically. enjoy!

No taste
I made cricket brownies for April Fools Day for work with this and the overall consensus was that they tasted just like other brownies! Honestly, expensive to plan on using long-term but I would recommend for tasting. And maybe one day people will be more open to eating bugs! (PS for anyone who gets the idea to re-use my prank, please inform people before having them eat them. Crickets might cause allergies in people with shell fish allergies. The prank is still really fun when they know.)

Good protein supplement
The bag has a peculiar insecty smell when it is opened which was not appealing but did disappear after incorporation into my baking. There wasn't a huge change of flavor in my chocolate chip cookies though I feel happier eating them with extra protein.

but my taste buds say it taste like beef liver that's cooked
the idea of eating insects started on the mind, but the nutritional value outweighs it all. I was surprised at the flavor. Some people describe the flavor as nutty, but my taste buds say it taste like beef liver that's cooked. It tastes is like the beef liver I use to cook. Overall, I do love the cricket powder and I plan to purchase again soon! Highly surprised, yes I can eat crickets! Thank you!
