I don't usually write a 5-star review when I receive a defective item, but this time is an exception. The first feeder I received leaked badly, so I contacted customer service. Within 24 hours, I received an email addressing the problem. After another couple of emails to try and troubleshoot the problem, the company refunded my money in full. Because the rest of the feeder worked, and because the company stood behind their warranty without any hassle or hesitation, I decided to give them another go and use the refund to purchase the same model. The second one has worked flawlessly, and has produced some great video snippets of the hummingbirds at the feeder. The camera produces really nice video, and setup was fairly simple. I believe this was one of those cases where sometimes even a good product can have a random defect slip through. When there's an issue with an item, all I ask is that the company makes it right, and these folks did! If I ever decided to set up another hummingbird camera, I'd have no problem ordering another one.

As a bird lover, I really enjoy these feeders which have cameras to catch bird moments you might otherwise not get to see. The current ones I have either don't have hummingbird attachments or have them but the bigger birds often scare the hummers off. Getting one purely for them is going to bring my entire family so much fun and joy. This is designed to be charged by the included solar panel which I find work really great with these, but if you ever need to charge it via USB, it comes with that option too. The nectar goes in the bottom, and the top is designed to have some water to act as a little moat for prevention of ants. The instruction booklet that comes with is great, very thorough. Make sure you put this feeder in semi-shade so as to keep the sugar water good for the birds. Standard with these you download an app to be able to view all the special moments. Can't wait for the hummingbirds to get here soon and have their own devoted space.

Product is ok. Takes good video. Lacks a little with the identification of species. Mislabeled some of the birds. Not worth paying money for a subscription.

Basically works but gives numerous false notifications which ruins why you buy it. 38 notifications today. Zero were birds.

I just gave this to my Aunt for her 80th birthday. She was so excited about this, yet never did I expect for her to have hummingbird customers, as well as a great photo, within 2 hours of setting it up! I recommend setting the notification sensitivity to a low, which worked great for her. The price was certainly worth it. The perfect gift for a bird lover, especially the older community or those who are less mobile. She is having a blast with this! Quality and make seem great and setting up took my husband around 30 minutes. It was slightly task-heavy to set up but we'll worth it.
