Now this is how men clean! With power drills! I've been looking at better and more efficient ways to cleaning the bathroom. Mainly the sink, tub, and shower. I've tried everything from scrubbers, foaming tile bleach cleaner, regular tile bleach cleaner, steam, sponges, car scrubbers, bleach tablets, pressure washer, straight bleach, and hard cushion foam. The foam paired with the tile bleach cleaner did the best, but required a lot of elbow power. I saw on TV the Clorox bathroom scrubtastic and got real interested in it. It was pretty pricey, but if it could clean my bathroom with little effort, i'd be happy. After watching hundreds of reviews on the unit, I came away with a couple of conclusions. 1. Underpowered (It spins fast, but apply just a little pressure, and it doesn't spin so fast anymore. Plus pressure kills the battery faster. So not for heavy tub stains) 2. Short battery life (It gets about 1hour and 40min worth of use after one charge, but if you have 3 bathrooms to clean, your not going to get much done in a day) 3. Long charge time (takes a while to charge the battery. Some users say about 2 hours or more) 4. Battery not replaceable (you finish the lifespan of the battery, you can't replace them. You have to purchase a new unit.) After coming to these conclusion, I thought about building my own. Maybe I could get a scrubtastic, and run it off of an old drill motor and battery. But Than I wondered if they just made scrub brush attachments for drills. I knew they made foam attachments that you could use to buff your car or clean your headlight as I've seen them at the car wash isle in Walmart. But never had I come across a brush. Nonetheless, I checked eBay to see if they make them, and sure enough they did! But a lot of eBay sellers wanted at-least 25 dollars for one. I might as well buy the scrubtastic! But then I came across this listing with great reviews. It was also a lot cheaper than the eBay listings and the scrubtastic. I decided to give it a try. All I can say is wow. This brush gets the work done fast with little to NO effort. The only effort I had to put in, was keeping the drill steady. That being said, I think any drill, even the cheap 20 dollar ones will do fine. However, if you have some stubborn stains, You will need a more powerful 2 speed drill preferable with a handle attachment to keep the drill more steady. I have a cheap black and decker I plan on using with this attachment, but I haven't used it yet. I used it with my Rigid hammer drill. I had to be very careful because the drill was powerful enough to eat through the tub paint. And the brush was strong enough to withstand the abuse! All in all, I had a rusted tub that we used to clean paint brushes, mortar and grout buckets, etc when we were renovating our house. Now its white and bright! I forgot to take a picture before cleaning, but here is how the tub looked after.

Was going back and forth between a 4 and a 5 star review and would've done 4.5 stars if possible. Bought this to clean our shower which had quite a lot of soap scum and hard water deposits. Had tried to use cleaner with a similar bristled but brush with a handle and talk about a workout! Not only that, it was a lot of effort for not much return. I used this round brush with some comet soft cleanser scratch free formula with bleach. Oh, important note, I had a little foresight and put on old clothes that I wouldn't mind getting dirty or trashed as I knew this brush could spray cleaner if not careful. I also used eye protection and would recommend the same. So I concentrated on one spot with a little cleaner on it and it wasn't the WOW I was looking for BUT it was much cleaner the the rest. But still to do a whole shower with just this might take quite a bit of time. So I had read about using easy off oven cleaner (fume free). I sprayed that on the shower floor and turned on the bathroom vent and let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes. I then used a scotch brite scrub sponge to wipe it down. (I used the that instead of this drill brush because the oven cleaner was a bit more "wet" and I didn't want to spray oven cleaner all over the place. Anyway, that cleaner was VERY effective. I was left with a shower basin that was pretty clean in some spots but still a bit gray in other spots. After rinsing the cleaner down the drain. I then when in with this drill brush and the comet cream cleanser and did the entire basin again. This time the whole basin was white again and the shower almost looked new! This drill brush really did save me a lot of time over a hand brush. I then used it on the soap scum on the glass and walls and it works pretty good but honestly for the glass and walls, those mr. clean magic erasers work best for that. They start falling apart but they're pretty cheap and again work very well on shower glass and walls. But if you have a lot of soap scum on the walls and/or glass, it might be better to go over it with this drill brush first and then finish off with the magic eraser. Bottom line: While this didn't have the blast off the soap scum effect I was hoping for, I'm still happy I bought it as it does work way better than an regular hand brush and saved me a lot of time and elbow grease. Also the bristles don't seem much worse for the wear after this first use. I am expecting it to last for quite a while.

I bought this specifically for power scrubbing the tile grout in my kitchen. It works so well, that it is shocking. One huge advantage is that you do NOT need to use expensive grout cleaner anymore. I switched to plain old blue Windex and it works just as well as a $15 bottle of "professional grade" grout cleaner I purchased from Home Depot. The only difference is that the expensive grout cleaner smells awful and leaves a sticky residue, so good riddance to that! A variable speed drill is absolutely necessary for this attachment. I found that the job goes more quickly if you "scrub in" the Windex at low speed first, let it sit for 30 seconds, then go back at medium speed to do the cleaning. Using this brush at high speed actually does a worse job because it flings the cleaner everywhere and dries out the area you are cleaning. Another tip is to reverse the drill every few minutes or the bristles start to "lean" in one direction and become less effective at scrubbing. Also, my drill gets pretty warm using this, but it probably depends on the drill. I suggest using the heaviest duty drill you own, and one with a cord at that. If you try to use a bargain and/or cheap-o off-brand drill I would bet it will overheat or burn up in short order. After switching from hand scrubbing to this power attachment I have noticed that it doesn't really save very much time, but there is pretty much zero arm fatigue compared to using elbow grease. I am never going back to hand scrubbing, for sure.

I bought this to clean my bathtub. I live with two women and a ten year old boy and I don't always get to the tub before it turns into a soap scummed mess. The combination of body washes, conditioners, shampoo and whatever other lady crap seems to mix into a combination that I can only explain as similar to maybe the staypuff marshmellow man sitting in a giant gum booth 4 weeks after burning man. That's when my son who hasn't taken a bath in 3 days because " He forgot " decides to solidify the mess in dirt. Add in my own apathy and this cycle has probably occurred several times before I bother with the tub. I mean it's nasty. It's like standing on a living creature built with dead skin cells and dirt. I'm nervous it's going to become sentient and start judging me like you (the reader) are right now. So this was typically a 3 to 4 hour job I would bother with maybe once every 4-6 months. Mostly because I hate it. I hate cleaning the tub more than any other job I have ever had. So I bought this brush and I was nervous that I might somehow wreck my bath tub with it. So I tried it on a small spot outside the tub with my cordless drill for a solid minute. No scratching, no rough feeling and this made me feel confident to continue. It took 30 minutes. I used some sort of soap bubble stuff I found under the sink as well. Some comet cleaner as I usually do. It took 30 minutes and I barely broke a sweat. This may be the single most valuable time saving purchase I have made for 2015. Now I'm not saying you should use it on your bath tub. You might have an acrylic tub or something different than I have. So fair warning. This thing is for carpets and not for tubs but if you're like me living life on the edge? I definitely think you should try this.

This item is beyond disappointing. It feels fragile, smells like cheap plastic, and doesn’t perform even the simplest tasks it claims to. It’s a complete waste and should be avoided by anyone who values quality.
