I am usually right on board the "I hate this Chinese made trash" train, but the bad reviews on this music box are just wrong. It isn't meant to be a display piece, a windup music box or a professionally recorded rendition of the song. It's a cute, little, wooden, hand-cranked, music box that plays a pleasant version of the music. And, the price is right.

Preface: I first came across this item while browsing a selection of goods from a vendor at a swap meet. My son had an immediate interest in this product, as he is an avid Zelda fan. The one available was damaged, so I decided to look online for similar products. To my surprise, I found this identical product for less than half the price (vendor wanted $25). The product: The housing for this music box is a beautiful blue-stained wood box with various inscriptions placed on the sides and top. On the inside, the top of the box is inscribed with text resembling that which has been used for Zelda games in the past. This music box has a simple mechanism inside which operates the same as any other hand-cranked music box. The song which this music box plays is the Song of Storms from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is truly a wonderful, cheap gift for any kids or adults who are fans of The Legend of Zelda series. The song it plays is very pretty to listen to and is timed in a way that allows it to effortlessly repeat. This factor allows younger kids to have ample enjoyment playing the tune over and over again. Well worth the money and would gladly buy another if something happened to this one.

It’s so cute! The door itself is on the flimsy side and I do wish the wood was at least stained as it does look a little rough, but other than that it’s adorable and sounds great. Perfect for a gift or cute conversation starter.

Fun little gift for my gaming group, that loves to yell, "Alexa play Pirates of the Carribean!" It's a small box music box, but that just adds to the charm.

Got this for my brother who loved Zelda growing up. The song is very reminiscent of our childhood and who doesn’t love a good music box.

Box is beautiful but actual song is missing a full stanza, which causes it to loop at the wrong time which is pretty disappointing.

Ordered one for me and one for my daughter, my peice cant play. Sad.
