Such a great value for your money. I currently have over 5 doves and this works great. I mix it with some roudybush pellets and they eat almost all of it. Some of the birds can be picky but there is something in here they will all eat.

I like this seed mix because it’s cheap, it has no pellets and it’s pretty much the same quality as Kaytee and other brands. I have it in hand in case my normal seed mix runs out for my pet budgies. But I mainly use this for wild birds. Birds like Cardinals, Doves, House Sparrows and Dark eyed juncos are all attracted to this mix. Even Squirrels like it which is great!!! Because the seeds are vitamin coated, I’m sure the wild birds get benefitted from it. Should this be a COMPLETE diet for pet birds?? No! Pet birds like Finches, canaries, budgies and other parrots need a wide variety of FRESH FOODS in their diet. So don’t forget to feed veggies in a separate dish so they get their proper nutrition.

Good valuable and varieties of the seeds, it can be used for both seeds and treats

Our parakeets are very happy to eat this, even when it was the only food we were giving them. Now we also give them fresh zucchini, celery, apple and carrot. You have to pay attention when checking if they need a food refill: when the parakeets eat these seeds, they drop the shells back into the feeder, so it may look like there is still ample food in there, but really the top level is garbage and they may not be able to find the good food underneath.
