Modern Day Kobes
First shoes from Li-Ning, honestly U.S. brands don’t come close to what these overseas brands are doing in terms of innovation and performance. I ordered the 808 v5 Ultra, they arrived within a week to the U.S. from China. They fit well, a bit of room length wise but I like my shoes to have some length. The cushion is mind blowing, they feel similar compression wise to Yeezy slides but with more bounce and responsiveness, while still feeling low enough to get some court-feel. GOAT level cushioning on these. Traction was also grade A, the GCU mixed with their tough rubber really bit into the court, rarely picking up dust. I will say the feeling of the two rubber compounds working together was quite strange, but after breaking them in I never thought about it again. The upper was very nice, similar to the engineered mesh we saw on later Kobe models, with fuse paneling on high wear areas. They were easily flexible but still locked my foot in place. Overall, these remind my heavily of Kobes but if Nike wasn’t afraid of innovation and hell bent on deliver mid tier performance for ridiculous prices. I’m Li-Ning forever after this purchase, I highly suggest you treat yourself of all you have ever know is the household brands in the U.S..

Way of Wade doesn’t disappoint
Awesome shoe, fits perfect boom insole is very nice cushy and comfortable. Very reliable on court with grip for days even on dusty courts. I have a pair to wear around as well as a pair for the court. This shoe is definitely not a wear around shoe though very comfortable. You’ll have some foot fatigue problems having these on for a 9-10 hours on your feet. But as far as playing I can definitely play longer wearing these than any of my other non Way of Wade shoes. I love the no Velcro strap style of these. However, if you really don’t want the Velcro strap I’d go with the 808 ultra 5’s instead of the 808 ultra 4’s. The one thing about this shoe is that it feels higher off the ground than the 808 ultra 4 model with the Velcro strap. The 808 ultra 5’s are still as low to the ground.

Fits long but very strong performer.
Fits long! Go 1/2 size down if you’re looking for a snug fit. Shoe itself is great. Drop in insole is the standout. Imagine a thick slab of memory foam that explodes back up. Traction is great, you still need to wipe but not nearly as much as 90% of the market.

Terrible shoes!! Unwearable!!
We purchased these shoes because they were supposed to be so great. My son came home from practice today and said his feet hurt. We looked at his shoes, and there is a BIG HOLE!!! After 2 months of indoor use only, a giant chunk of the bottom rubber broke off, exposing the inside cotton material. Now they are completely unwearable!!! He has a basketball showcase in 2 days, no shoes, and we are out the money. Very Disappointed!!!! Zero Stars!

Great shoes
The shipping was completely weird. It said the package was shipped then in town two weeks later. Then said it was returning back to the warehouse. A few days later it arrived. I almost thought it was a scam. My son loves the shoes. He said his volleyball performance significantly improved. I watched his games and he did great. I'm not sure it's the shoes but maybe his morale and positivity. But he definitely thinks it's the shoes. Idk.

Great fit, comfortable, and lightweight. Quality material, which is expected for almost $200
My son loves these shoes and so do I. They are considered mids but the have a flexible material around the ankles that work great (good support, not stiff). Expensive but then again so is everything nowadays. Good value. Great fit. Comfortable and lightweight. So far we have had them for months of daily use and abuse and they are quality material and performance. Style is why my son wanted them.

Yes yes yes!!!
Bought for my fiance for his birthday. He loves these shoes. He said they are very comfortable, light weight and he feels the grip when he is playing in his basketball league. He said that there is plenty of room in them and he would absolutely get these again. Great buy! He also gets lots of compliments

My narrow foot the problem??
unfortunately never wore. The sneaker felt big n my narrow foot. purchased another pair earlier in year and sent them for same reason. That’s too bad since I love the design of sneakers in the Wade series
