was excited to try this. tinted sunscreens are all the rage—esp Korean sunscreens. that's the problem with rage: it's over-hyped. I have fair skin, rosacea, and live in a hot humid climate. always interested in a sunscreen that can even out my skin tone and works with other makeup. decided to try BJ because a few YT derms highly recommended it. not sure why. Was surprised at how thin and runny this sunscreen was. coverage is sheer to semi-sheer. it's a hybrid sunscreen, and due to the iron oxide, it leaves an oily sheen on my normal skin. if you have dry skin, it might look and feel better. lots of colors to choose from, but not for me.

This is a decent mineral sunscreen that kind of feels like there’s moisturizer in it. I don’t think it provides much blurring or coverage to the skin at all but for an “everyday drive to office and work all day”, it’s perfect. Fortunately I chose the right shade. I’m light with neutral undertone and LN110 was perfect. So far it holds up in the Hawaii climate. I don’t feel too greasy at the end of the day with my sensitive combo skin.

I am very impressed with this sunscreen. It doesn’t to break me out, provides adequate sun protect protection and leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized, but not greasy. My skin feels better after using it! (That said, if you have oily skin, this may not be the product for you.) I love La Roche Posey and it’s my go to sunscreen, but the tints that are available are too dark for my face. They match my arms and I don’t mind it being a little dark when I’m working outside, but I wanted something that I could wear daily to work. This seems to be the product! I am so impressed by it. So much so that I worry it’s a little too good to be true.
