Every time I use this, I think: I’ve got the power! lol This has been a life saver, clearing vines and small trees from my fence line and yard. It is easy to use and super sharp. Pay attention while using it. The things which make it an excellent tool, also make it a little dangerous. I’m not sure how long I’ve had it, at least 6mos. And it is still super sharp. Even though I’ve cleared so much kudzu, wild roses, poison ivy, wisteria, English ivy and small trees with it. It is going to be durable and useful for a long time to come.

Sharp blade. The plastic handle is not as sturdy as the woden ones.

Works great for chopping weeds. I use it to clear around my irrigation sprinklers. It is sharp, so be mindful of where your cutting!

This is the real deal. Arrived today (quick delivery), so I have yet to use it. But its heft and balance indicate it will be a substantial brush clearer, heavy-duty weeding tool, and branch lopper. Steel goes all the way through the handle for secure grip, blade rigidity supported by a t-spine. Only question is whether you want this open-curve style or the more hooked-curve blade. This is designed for hack-and-pull work, similar to the way you'd use a bush knife or panga but pulling at the end of the stroke, whereas the more curled blade would better suit a circular slash-pull stroke, as with a sickle.

Too short and angle of blade to handle is terrible and doesn’t cut that great.
