Forest School Adventure: Outdoor Skills and Play for Children : Dan Westall, Naomi Walmsley: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Great book - Love this book, hours or fun and ideas, well laid out and easy to follow Review: Great ideas, really nice book - Some great ideas with nice illustrations and photos. We’ve done quite a few, but will be a good reference book for activities as my sons get older too (currently 2 and 5 so some things are a bit tricky!). Great to give parents some ideas too!

Absolutely perfect
This book is so much more than what I expected. It is big, and beautiful. It is full of ideas, very well explained, to use for Forest School. Very well illustrated , pictures are clear and useful. I’ll be using this book for all my sessions. Highly recommend it

This book is so lovingly thought out and thorough! I bought it for our 9 year old son, since he's at the age where he can start learning some outdoor life skills. It is fun, engaging, easy to follow, and has better basic skills than my adult bushcrafting books contain! Especially the knot tying section, basic knife safety and use, and campfire cooking. Alot of the activities are good for sharing with a group of young outdoorsy kids!
