UPDATE #2: It has now been over a year since I first bought these shorts, and I still love them. I live in them over the summer and they've held up super well through hiking, working out, and casual daily wear. I almost want to stock up on them in multiple sizes and colors so that I never have to worry about not having them available to wear (haha)! UPDATE: amazing shorts! Took them on a trip out west to hike in Arizona and Utah and they were amazing. Comfortable during the hikes and after washing multiple times. Hiked the Narrows in them at Zion (10 miles in a river) and they were comfortable while soaked and also super quick to dry. Also wore them on a 14 hour travel day with optimal comfort on planes, trains, and automobiles. The waistband cord did shrink a smidge so it’s not soooo long after first wash. After ten days of wearing these shorts for light, moderate, and more involved outdoor activities in high heat and water, I highly recommend them! …. Love these shorts! They have a nice amount of stretch and are super cute to boot. I included photos of both the medium and large for comparison. The difference may seem minuscule but it took me at least an hour to decide what I wanted to do, so hopefully this helps you! The medium fit me pretty well (see measurements below) and was definitely more appropriate for my waist; however, my bottom is always at risk of escaping the short and my thighs are a thunderin’ so I did debate going with the large. After a walk in the mediums I felt confident that they would hold up just fine. Sizing up would be totally fine, as well, if you want a little extra room. The pockets are great and the waistband is super helpful if you do want to size up but since in! Haven’t worn them on a hike or anything yet but can report back for comfort and quality once I’m back. The fabric feels nice as well. Height - 5’2” Waist - 28” Hips - 36.5” Around bum - 39” Thighs - 21-22” at thickest

LOVE THEM!!! I got the dark green in a medium and they’re perfect. They fit true to size. Color is as advertised. Light weight. The value for the price is awesome. They’re so comfortable and the pockets are great too! Some of my favorite shorts now! They’re also a comfortable high rise so they’d be perfect for pairing with crop tops, normal length shirts, and even swimsuit tops. Unlike a lot of high rise pants, these don’t cut into your stomach so they’d be good for traveling as well. The only thing to be careful on is the belt. If you unclip it, the buckle likes to get stuck in the seam. It’s kind of a pain to work out, but personally I just work around it. I can’t wait to try these for hiking.

I got the green size small, they fit great and are light and comfortable as I’d hoped for a long hiking trip (25 miles). They dry quickly when wet and were very breathable, I got complimented on my hike several times. The zip up pockets are great too for keeping a few things. The only thing that could improve is the belt, when you take the shorts off the belt sometimes slips back into the shorts and it’s hard to fish it back out sort of like threading the string in a hoodie. Overall I would still buy them again.

Excellent shorts! Great practical shorts without being frumpy (; Not too long, not too short. Nice to have zipper pockets to keep important items from falling out. I like the belt which looks great and can be used in hiking medical emergencies as well. Also just a stylish, comfortable pair of shorts. Roomy.

These shorts are amazing! I live in TX so wearing jean shorts isn’t always the most comfortable option. And as a thick thigh girly it’s hard to find shorts that don’t ride up. I ordered a Medium (I’m 5’1 135 lbs) in these and although in the waist I have room, the built-in belt makes it so they fit perfectly throughout the day. If I get bloated I can just loosen them. Bonus point is they don’t ride up at all, I definitely could’ve gotten a small but I like a looser fit. They’re comfortable in the TX heat and I think they’re extremely cute! As others say, the belt buckle can slip into the hole, so before I take the shorts off I loosen the belt all the way so that, that doesn’t happen. Anyways 10/10 and I’ve already ordered my second pair!

Once I put them on I was in love. They fit perfectly, the material is thick and durable, the pockets fit a whole phone. They look, feel and are durable. I move, restore furniture so I do a lot of dirty work and they didn’t get dirty or ripped. Plus at a great price!

So sad that these shorts didn't fit right. I saw a lot of other reviews saying these were big thigh-friendly but when I put them on, they rode up immediately and my thighs started to chafe. The build quality of the shorts is great and the fabric felt wonderful, but I have to return them because I know the chafing would get super bad during hikes. These would be perfect if you had thinner thighs! So sad that I have to go back to searching for shorts :( For reference: I'm 5'2 140lbs and my thighs are ~26in in circumference at their thickest point. I ordered a size M and they fit everywhere perfectly besides the chafing
