Complete piece of junk lost money buying this garbage. It arrived, i loved it for about 2 hours. Went to open it after microwaving the very first item door completely ripped off in my mind. The lock feature didn't disengage so latches stuck in door seperated from door itself. Would no longer close so couldn't turn it on again, completely usless. Went to return, since it's outside amazon primes network Had to pay return shipping so lost $60 trying to get my money back. they shouldn't even be allowed to sell this thing it's so bad.

I love this cute micro, so far no issues and I hope it last a few years like the last one. I wanted a retro or at least interesting micro as I dont really want a microwave, only my husband uses it to melt cheese for a sandwich or reheat coffee. I only use it when I need a cup of hot water and putting on the kettle is too much work. This is not for heavy users that heat packaged meals or cook in the microwave, this is for low use heat up a beverage types like me. The only thing I dont like is the child safety door lock, we dont have children and its a pain, the instructions to disable it do nothing. We have only used the quick start button-the large one at the base so I cant comment on the other functions. If you are not a heavy user this makes a cute addition to the kitchen, doesn't take up a lot of room.

It's fun to look at, works fine if you are very careful. What I mean by that is, if you don't know better and try to open it when it's done cooking, it is locked. Your first instinct is to pull the door open harder. I did pull a little harder but it was completelty locked, so I read the instructions and found out that you have to hit the cancel button for it to unlock so you can open it. Today (Christmas), my family broke it because they didn't know to hit the cancel button first. They thought it was stuck, and completely broke it. I only had it for a week because of that counter intuitive, poor l y designed mechanism. Other than that it's fine, and very eye catching. But very disappointing that that design flaw caused it to be broken in just days :(
