Jelly 2, Android 11 Smartphone with FeliCa Support, 6GB + 128GB, 2000mAh Battery

< 2023/11/24 追記レビュー > もう１台他で購入してサブにしてます。 スマホは現状この機種だけにしてますが、GoogleMapsで道案内中にYoutubeMusicを再生していると画面サイズの小ささによって地図が縦幅1cmくらいしか表示されないのにはこの機種特有の面白みすら感じます。そういう点は割り切ってるので全然いいんです。 バッテリーは毎日充電必須ですね。そうしていればちゃんと1日使えますし、予備に5,000mAh程度の小さいモバイルバッテリーを持ち歩いても良いくらいコンパクトです。 Suicaもクレカ(QuickPay)も電話も音楽再生も、これ1台で済んでます。 キーボード入力は結構酷ですがゆっくり入力すれば何とかいけなくもないです。 画面サイズが求められる場合はPCを使うようにしています。 2台とも、今のところ大きな不調はみられません。 < 2022/09/30 購入後レビュー > RakutenMiniから乗り換え。 指紋センサは一度使うとやめられない(RakutenMiniにはなかった) 指紋センサの感度は指紋登録を増やすことでかなり俊敏になる RakutenHandの液晶画面指紋認証の1/3~1/4くらいの速度で認識(体感0.6秒程) 液晶サイズが小さいので(仕方ないしそれが特徴でありメリットだが)万人受けする機種ではないことは確か。 老眼になったらとても使えたもんじゃないと思うので今のうちに堪能しておきます SuicaとかGooglePayでQuickPay登録しておくことで現金のみの支払いの所以外はこれ一台で全網羅出来てしまう。 GooglePayアプリのポイントカード登録でポイントカードを持つ必要もなくなり、ほぼ財布レスになる(現金のみの店用に少しは持ち歩く程度)。 カメラも超高画質ってわけでもないが激安ホンになるような絶望的画質でもない。 強いて言えば感度はチョイ悪いから暗いところでブレる。でもフラッシュ(内蔵ライト)がかなり明るい。 イヤホン端子もあるのでオキニのイヤホンが使える。ちなみにFMラジオも聴ける(あんま聴かんけど) 課題があるとすれば、一つだけ開発者さんにお願い。 赤外線センサのまともなアプリが欲しい。 (あわよくば学習機能のあるものがあれば最高。これがあったらリモコンすらも要らなくなる。) あとこの機種に限らずだけど、AndroidのBluetoothはゴミすぎますね。 定期的に、しょっちゅう途切れる。(というか処理落ちみたいになる。どのワイヤレスイヤホンでも) 多分内蔵Bluetoothモジュールベンダーのドライバーがド不安定なんだと思う。 ユーザーでは変えようがないから仕方なく定期的に接続しなおすか有線で聴く嵌めに。 ワイヤレスイヤホンで曲聞いたりしたいならDAPみたいな専用端末かiPhone一択でしょうね。 これに限らず、Android全般選んじゃダメです。 選ぶなら仕方なく我慢かアプデなりで改善するのを待ちましょう。 発熱はこのサイズでかなり健闘しているほうだと思う。 性能とサイズによる発熱を天秤にかけて丁度均衡のとれるところを見出している感じ。 もちろん酷使すると想定外の発熱はある。

デュアルSIMで使っているけど、電池は思ったよりも持つ。４Gの受信バンドが豊富なので、アンテナもよく立っている。小さくてFELICAを使えるのが貴重ですね。指紋認証は左の人差し指を５カ所登録したので、殆ど読取ミスがない。また丁度良い場所に読み取り部が位置しているので操作性もよい。問題点は、他の機種ではしっかりと動いていたGoogleカレンダーと同期してくれる目覚ましアプリが当機種では機能しなくなったことかな。独自アプリがあるので、その因果関係があるかも知れない。 ■2025年8月26日追記 例のGoogleカレンダーと同期してくれる目覚ましアプリなんだけど、どうやら原因が判明した。この機種で初期で設定されている「アプリ制限」で、これを「オフ」にしてやらないと動作しないようだ。バックグラウンドで余計なプログラムが邪魔をしていたんだと思う。やり方はAndroid11で「設定→スマートアシスト→アプリ制限→オフ」。あと、このスマートアシストで「プログラマブルキー」ってやつがあるんだけど、これは側面の赤ボタンをカスタマイズできる。ショートカットボタンに使える訳だ。設定しておいたほうが良いだろう。

胸ポケットに入ってモバイルSuicaに対応して新品で買えるスマホなんてこの機種しか無いので一時期在庫切れになった時はもう新品で購入できないのかとがっかりしましたが在庫が復活したので喜び勇んで新たに購入しました。前回購入したのはクラウドファンディング系サイトでしたが購入履歴が残っておらずメーカーのバッテリー交換修理を受けられないままスマホ背面が膨張して来たので昨年暮れで使用を中止しましたが今回はアマゾンでの購入なのでメーカーサポート（国内指定工場での修理）が受けられます。バッテリーの寿命はフル充電しても減りが激しくて使用に耐えられなくなるのに3年半くらいですかね。なので今回は3年半後にバッテリー交換をして使用し続けようと思っていますが何せ古いスマホ（Android11）なのでモバイルSuicaアプリが何時まで対応するのかは気になります…

ID、QUICPay等、タッチ決済が使えません。 4年前にクラファンで入手した同機種では問題なく使えていたのです。 今回リピートしたら、使えなくなっていました。 初期不良と言うことで交換対応してもらいましたが、やはり使えませんでした。 結局、使えない原因は初期不良ではありませんでした。 他の方のレビューにもある通り、この数年の間に内部基板を変更したせいで Playプロテクト設定の認定が得られなくなったからでした。 他にも、タッチパネルの検出位置がずれていて、タッチミスが増えました。 バッテリー容量も少なくなっていて、丸一日は保ちません。4年前のモノは2日保ったのに。 こんなに改悪されているのに、同じ名前を名乗るのは詐欺に近いと思います。 リピートしたくなるくらい気に入っていた機種だけに残念です。 Unihertzさんは二度とFeliCa対応機種を出す気がないようですし、 代替機など見つからないし、本当に困ったものです。

超小型でFeliCa対応という求めている人にはたまらないスマホ これ一つで通話もアプリも電車も支払いもできます 好みすぎて2年半使ったあとにリピートしてしまった 欠点はたくさんある ・電池持ち ・アプリによっては解像度不足で入力不能に ・発熱 ・Wifiの不安定さ ・緊急通報時に（小さすぎて）誤操作しそう ・実は厚みがある ・Androidが古くなってきた 11 ・色が一つしかない ・ケースがほとんどない 特に注意したいのはスマートアシストのアプリ制限がデフォルトでONなところ ONだと電池持ちが改善しますが通知が数時間遅れます 通知は自力で見る人向けの機能（ガラケーっぽい）

一年で操作不能になって使えない

まず短所から。 バッテリー持ちはやはり良くない。5000mAhの端末に比べるとやはり減りが速いが、旺盛に使わなければ何とか夜までもつ。メインで使う場合はモバイルバッテリーが必要である。画面か小さいので、地図は見にくい。が、一応使える。ブラウザも小さい。が、画面が小さいが、ニュースの閲覧、チケット予約、銀行口座の操作など、ちゃんと使える。LINEも同様にちゃんと使える。LINEはタブレット等をセカンド端末にしておけば大画面で操作できるので、外出中のみJelly2を使うという使い方もある。その他のアプリも字が小さいが使える。キーボードの入力は、普通サイズのスマホに比べると打ちにくい事は確か。でも注意してやれば打ち間違いは殆どなく、ちょっと心配だったが特に困ることはない。QWERYYキーでもできる。 長所 NFC、FelicaアリなのでVISAのタッチ決済やQuicPay、SUICA等が使える。(ICOCAは使えない) 楽天ペイやPayPayのバーコードも小さいがちゃんと読み取ってもらえた。この小さい端末で改札口を通過するのはかなり愉快である。手に持っていてもスマホを持っているように見えない。指紋、顔認証もちゃんと動作する。指紋は認識しにくいという書き込みがあったが特に問題なく使える。指の端のほうが当たった時は認識しないこともあるがやり直せばOK。楽天と日本通信simのデュアルsimで使用しているが、どちらも問題ない。楽天は自動的にAPN設定された。日本通信simは手入力で設定した。楽天はsim2に入れると通話がうまくいかなかったが、これは楽天の問題だろう。eSIMがないので、デュアルsimにするとSDカードが入らないが、128GBあるので写真等は内蔵メモリに保存して、溜まってきたらPCに移せば良いでしょう。Jelly STARの方がメモリが大きくSocも新しいが、Felicaがなく、厚みが増え、無駄なLEDライトが付いている。Jelly2はAndroid11になっているし、Felicaアリの新機種が出るまではJelly2の方が良いでしょう。 ハードにゲーム等で使うのでなく、LINEやブラウザ閲覧、スマホ決済のみの人ならメインでも使えるし、コロンとした小さいめっちゃ愉快な端末だと思う。(モバイルバッテリーは要る。あと、50歳以上は老眼鏡)

I have used the Jelly 2 for several months now (since August), and I am extremely happy with this device. It is a fantastic alternative to the giant smartphones on the market today. ✨ Design, Feel, and Portability The 3-inch screen is what sold me. It is incredibly compact and fits perfectly in the hand. It's not like the giant phones everyone uses today—this size is excellent. It feels great for this price and is easy to clean. Note on Text Size: The writing is small, and the on-screen keyboard is tiny, so this phone is not for everyone. However, you can enlarge the text within messaging apps, and you can always zoom in by pinching the screen when scrolling through web pages. Furthermore, I often use the microphone for voice-to-text when messaging or for voice searches on the internet, which bypasses the keyboard size issue entirely. It features a handy slot for a lanyard, which is great for carrying it securely or swinging it around. ⚙️ Performance and Usability I can download all my essential applications, including my favorite local music player, Musicolet (Google Play stopped this, I guess they think everyone streams, but we don't!). Crucially, this phone handles large memory cards well; I currently use a 256GB SD card specifically for my music files, and it works perfectly for massive local storage. Jelly 2E Comparison: Do not get the Jelly 2E! That phone is supposed to be the "next up" model, but it felt like a major downgrade. The connectivity on the 2E was terrible, but the Jelly 2 is fine; calls are clear, and texting is standard. Wired Audio: It has a 3.5mm headphone jack! This is an awesome, essential feature for wired calls, receiving calls, and enjoying music. Bluetooth: Connects straight away without any issues. 🔋 Battery and Usage The battery life is acceptable. I use the phone frequently and heavily, so I do charge it daily, but it has handled my usage well over these six months. 📸 Camera and Screen Quality The video camera and audio quality are good. I think it's definitively better than the Jellystar Mini video/audio quality, based on my experience. Pictures are decent, but since I don't prioritize the camera part, I don't care that they aren't the absolute best. Watching YouTube is cool, but don't expect a tablet-like experience; this is a phone, and that's all I wanted. ⚠️ Note on App Compatibility The only small issue is with specific app compatibility (like the eBay app) due to the Android version. However, for those who know how to safely find and install APK files from trusted sites like APKMirror, this is easily worked around.

Il telefono é una sorpresa. Mai avrei immaginato che un telefono così piccolo potesse offrire delle buonissime prestazioni. Avendolo preso per la comodità delle dimensioni e quindi non per navigare in continuazione su internet o per gaming, ha una durata più che buona , anche più di 24 ore. Il dispositivo é veloce e fluido nel funzionamento, la fotocamera da risultati soddisfacenti, l'audio nelle telefonate é molto buono. Nel complesso, lo valuto un buon telefono. Sconsigliato a chi ama gli smartphone over size....

I have had this phone for over 2 years, i really love it because of its tiny size. It does all the current huge smartphones do, but in a very compact size. I've noticed that after 2 years the battery performance isnt as good as new (but it's no worse that any other phone in that respect). It's a tiny phone, so not a high usage phone and you need good eyesight for the small screen. I'd buy it again today

Update 25May2021: A great phone is even better. The first software update made it so that the battery icon now displays a visual indicator of charge level or a percentage of charge remaining even while in battery saver mode. Props to Unihertz for implementing that change. ----- I tend to only use a phone for talk and text, and prefer models that are smaller than my iPod Touch, preferably a good bit smaller. Preferably the size of my old LG enV2, if I'm being honest. I used the Unihertz Atom for a month but found the keyboard too small even for my minimal uses. It was excellent as a way to deter excessive, or any, screen use, but even typing a word or two was frustrating. I switched to Jelly 2 about a month ago and the difference is amazing. I am absolutely in love with this little phone! Even with my bad eyes and clumsy fingers, texting is very doable with no more errors than I make on my iPod Touch keyboard, especially with the Swiftkey keyboard app that supports swype typing. I wouldn't want to type long emails on it, but I have no problem texting or typing short emails. Discord, Facebook, Flickr and Chrome are all very functional and easy to use even on such a small screen. Despite the fact that I try to limit my phone use to talk and text, I find myself using it for other functions that I'd normally use over WIFI with my iPod Touch. I appreciate that Jelly 2 has more RAM and storage than Atom, and that it supports a micro SD card in the second SIM slot. I'm using it with a Verizon SIM card that was activated in a Verizon phone and switched to the Jelly 2. So far, no problems with Verizon as my service provider. Although I liked the rubberized grip of Atom, I prefer the removable case that Jelly 2 has, and hope it will be available as a separate purchase and in different colors at some point. I prefer the older Android app drawer style UI, but the Clean Launcher app decently provides that functionality. I'd also like it to have a larger battery, although I know that's a trade off with keeping the device size small. I was getting 3 days between charges with the Atom but can't seem to go more than 2 with Jelly 2, probably because I'm tempted to use it for more than just talk and text. Overnight battery drain is about 1% per hour on standby in battery saver mode. I don't like that you can't see the battery charge level in battery saver mode. The icon at the top doesn't display a visual level or percentage. If you value a small footprint over screen or battery size, Jelly 2 can absolutely function as a main smart phone replacement. If you enjoy watching videos or playing games on your phone or need to do a lot of typing, it may not be the best choice. If you want a tiny, rugged phone to use as a temporary alternate to a larger or more fragile device, or something that will really discourage screen use, go with the Atom.
