Q: Does the new chloe smell like the old chloe by karl lagerfeld eau de toilette?

This is actually a knock off. Smells the same but has no lasting scent. It wears off quick. Save your $$ and buy the real thing because this is not authentic Chloe.

Q: Is there a big difference between chloe edp and chloe new? enough of a difference to buy the new?

New? I know of only 2 versions: eau de toilette and eau de parfum (edp). The edp lasts longer than the edt; you can go a full day without reapplying the parfum and a little goes a long way. I hope thia helps.
