My cats have never been so hydrated. The fountain is easy to assemble and fill. This is the corded version. I like how the base and water reservoir are separate and the pump resides inside the water reservoir. It makes filling and cleaning so much easier. The pump uses some magnetic technology (I think) from the reservoir to communicate with the base, so if the water reservoir gets displaced somehow, the fountain will stop flowing. The water flow is quiet yet strong enough to make the water appealing to the cats. The filters do need to be replaced every 2 weeks which can be cumbersome, but worth it in the end if you're concerned about keeping your cats hydrated. Review: Wow, I’m impressed. I’ve used the plastic Petlibro water fountain for quite some time and was pretty pleased with it, but I wanted a stainless steel version to be healthier and help eliminate cat acne for one of my cats. I debated between this one and the full stainless steel fountain from Petlibro, but my cats are picky and I was worried they wouldn’t like the water stream, and it’s just so convenient to see the water level at a glance, so I chose this one. The assembly is so easy, and I absolutely *love* that the pump is cordless, because the cord in the water of the previous one always made me wary. It makes the pump way easier to clean too, as the cord isn’t dragging all over the place. The filter on the pump is a larger, thinner rectangle which will make me more confident that it’s clean when washed, compared to the previous thick square filter. The 4-layer filter goes underneath the spout in the bowl - you just slip your fingers in the water vents on either side and pop it off - I did it without even ruining my nail polish. (Just remove the spout from the cover first or it may go flying) The spout design (which I wasn’t sure the cats would like) is much improved because I can actually clean the whole inside much better - it was a big concern that I couldn’t get to all the grooves of old fountain spout. The water flow is absolutely silent. My cat’s drinking noises are the only thing I can hear when I’m down on the floor next to the bowl. (If I put my ear literally right next to the bowl, I hear the *faintest* hum of the pump inside.) All three cats took to it immediately, even the one who prefers to drink from a dripping faucet like a spoiled prince. I’ve never seen that one drink so throughly from a bowl, even my previous Petlibro fountain, so that’s a huge win for me. They drink from both the bowl and the spout. When lifted off the base, the water flow stops immediately. I have no complaints, and will be getting another one for the laundry room instead of just replacing the pump on my plastic bowl (no manufacture failure there, I ruined it myself by accidentally pouring boiling water into the dish of pump parts instead of the dish with the scrubby brush to disinfect it). Cat and cat minion approved! Note: The hum in the video is my bathroom light/fan, not the fountain.

My cat is super picky. Essentially refuses to drink out of a standing water bowl. This is the seventh(?) fountain I have gotten her. The first was hapup clear fountain which was great except hard to clean and eventually just got too gross. Ive been through various models and brands of stainless steel, trying to find the simplest design and easiest to clean, and landed most recently on some off-brand which I and cat was happy with. Except 4 months later the motor just quit working. I went to try to inquire about it and the entire product isn’t available anymore. Which made me realize that the amazon marketplace is getting flooded with tons of off-brand options - who knows how well made or reliable the companies are, and how long filters will be available for. So, I searched reputable brands and chose this one. And I’ve got to say, the product design and quality is miles above all the others. It’s super super silent - can barely hear it. The filter sits tightly and seems like it’ll actually ensure quality water. The motor works magnetically from the dock and so there is no electric cord that has to be submerged in the water. Cat took a bit to warm up to it… I think because compared to other fountains the spout isn’t totally like the sink faucet, but she’s drinking from it now. Ive only had it a few days but so far I’m pretty impressed with the product. We’ll see how it lasts and if it stays clean from the green algae, but so far I’m pleasantly surprised.

I bought this water fountain back in July and have used it as my main fountain for a household of 2 cats and a small (15 ib) dog since. I was really excited to get this fountain as it has a locking feature at the top, which has been a must have for me as one of my cats has a personal mission to break into any fountain I buy and spill liters worth of water all over the floor. This is my 4th cat water fountain, and it actually works and works pretty well! My cat has been thwarted in her attempts to knock the top portion off which is like a godsend. Pros: - easy to clean, the overall minimalist design and the cordless pump of this fountain makes cleaning it a breeze. I prefer to hand wash my pets dish’s and sometimes all the bells and whistles make it really hard to clean or even want to clean it, especially when I try to clean around the corded pumps. - The replacement filters are relatively affordable, I spent in August after tax a total of $20 and some change on a 8-pack (came with the sponge filter replacements as well) which is a 4 months supply. My old brand was $22 for a 5 pack. - The plug for the base of the fountain has a silicone attachment which (i’m unsure if this is the purpose but it works) protects the plug from any water that may cause internal water damage which I appreciated. - This is definitely one of the most quiet fountains I’ve owned. I sometimes forget I even have it running until the water runs low and needs a top off. Even the drainage from the top portion is very quiet, and I also haven’t had it back up in the top well because it can’t drain well enough. Now the con. Yes, my singular con with this product: - My unit occasionally leaks. At first i chalked this up to the fact that my cats and dogs are quite the rambunctious bunch. But after looking, it seems to be a semi common issue with some other buyers units as well. Just to be sure, I made sure to watch them closely so they didn’t rough house near it, but when I went to refill the fountain, low and behold there was water puddling between the unit and the base and also underneath the base as well. This is definitely far less mess than what my cats have done in the past, but it was a bit disappointing to find that it is a problem with the product itself. I’m not sure where on the unit the leak is coming from, but it has happened I would say about 4 or 5 times now. I have waterproof flooring and a mat under the fountain but I can see how this would be a concern for many pet parents. Overall, I give this unit a 4/5 because I really do love it and wish I could give it full stars, but the leak has left me from feeling 100% satisfied with this purchase. I spent a pretty penny on this, I would hope at the very least it doesn’t leak. I will put updates if my leak problem improves, my opinion changes or if i buy a second one and test it for leaks. 1/11/2024 Update! I tried various things the last few months trying to see if the leaking problem could be solved. It seems like most of the time my unit leaked once it got close to the minimum water amount. So i maintained the water at least 3 inches above the minimum line, and have only had one leaking incident since. I also found that rinsing the filter every now and again between washes helped cut down the leaking incidents. I normally replaced the filter every 2 to 3 weeks. But I found the closer I replaced them to the 1.5 to 2 weeks, the less the unit leaked as well. Which makes it a bit inconvenient, especially if as a pet parent you’re busy and it slips your mind more often than not. Since many of us purchased fountains to keep not only fresher water for our pets but also a large quantity for peace of mind and simplicity, it’s something to keep in mind. Hope my review helps! I’ll update if I run into any more problems. 7/25/24 I have used this for a full year now and I can confidently say the leakage issues i previously experienced have become basically nonexistent. Following my advice in my previous update has eliminated leaking on my unit. Expanding on what I mentioned previously, be sure that the top white filter AND black pump filter is being rinsed in between washes as both can get build up pretty frequently (definitely recommend replacing the black filter when you replace the white one since they also come in the filter replacement pack). Since my last update, I have had only one leaking incident due to forgetting to rinse the filter. I’m unsure if this is a cure all for all the leaking units but hopefully this helps with some pet parents struggling with this. TLDR: Increased frequency of filter changes/rinsing (white top filter and black pump filter), maintaining the water level, and fully breaking down the pump during washes is extremely important for the leaking issue! I hope this helps others experiencing this problem!
