Quiet, as easy to assemble as you can experience, it was my first one but all came out good, when you stop the pump, it squirts water from the see through cap, self primed and it works, super quiet compared to my old one

I am so disappointed in this pump. It legitimately did not last THREE MONTHS!! I purchased it last year to upgrade the pump on a pool that we’ve had for years. Unfortunately when we went to open the pool, my bf used a pressure washer to clean the liner and ripped it. So we decided to wait and get a bigger pool this year. Obviously not trying to use the pump till this year, was a completely stupid mistake on my part, knowing I’d go way over the return time. We set up our new pool the end of May 2025. Even with a bigger pool, this pump worked great when we first started using it. We run it on the lower power mode (and keep the screwed on cover, over the switch to turn it up to the higher power mode, to ensure it never got messed with). We haven’t even ran it as hard as it should be able to go, and in less that THREE MONTHS the motor is blown. I did like the fact it had a basket in it to help catch debris. I NEVER let it get debris in it (I used an extra skimmer that hooks to the pool to prevent that basket from getting dirty, as much as possible). I done this because the lid to clean that basket was a disaster to try to put back on when cleaning it. The rubber ring inside the lid that prevents it from leaking - is almost impossible to keep in place while putting the lid back on. Much harder than ANY of the pumps we’ve had in the past (we’ve had pools my entire life growing up). The pump DID work great - for the very short time. I REALLY wish I had just paid a little extra and got a better pump. I’ve had several people tell me the Vevor brand products are great quality products. I’d much rather spend my money with a “smaller” less known company if they make good products, as opposed to huge companies. Sadly I haven’t had that luck. I’ve used this pump, and a boat cover from the brand (that ripped the first month we had it) I gave them a try but will NEVER buy Vevor again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My existing 1.5 Hp pump was getting noisy so I bought this one. Unfortunately it doesn't have the power of my old one and did not work. I have an ungrounded pool and the pump is 4' above the pool water level. Plus, there are some 90 degree elbows between the pool and the pump. Bottom line is that it could not pull the water. The instructions say it has a suction ability of 1.5 meters but the elbows do create drag.

The product is very good, but unfortunately its not the right pump for my setting. if i go ahead with the attachments i need to to modify the whole structure. so this is why i need to return it cause the pump is not for my attachment of ground wire and plumbing.

Feels like a solid pump so far after 2 days in really hot weather. Time will tell if it lasts. 2 immediate issues though. One, the power cord is only about 2 feet long. Needs to be at least a couple feet longer. Two, I forget what they’re actually called but the attachments for hooking up the hoses are really cheap plastic. It’s hard to get them tight enough without shredding them. Use pvc ones if you can instead.
