I read up on Tanzanite and I saw that the stone can be anywhere from pale lavender to deep blue. I also read the reviews so when I received my pair, I was happy. They are indeed a blue/purple color but since I was aware of this possibility, I am very happy with my purchase. They are beautiful earrings and they are true to size. Nothing against the reviewers that were upset about the color but please keep in mind that these stones are going to vary in color since the stone itself varies.

For the price these are wonderful. If you know anything about tanzanite the shade of the gems can range from deep purple to bluish purple to light purple. And they can look completely different depending on the lighting. In my opinion, natural tanzanite is an expensive gen so for the cost, these earrings are just perfect.

I was skeptical when I bought these for my wife, thinking I may not get good quality tanzanite for $85.00. When these arrived in a small gift box, I was very pleased with their appearance. They are a nice deep blue and the stone size is 5 mm as advertised. My wife was also happy with these earrings. She wore them out to dinner on Friday night and got compliments from the couple that dined with us. I would have given them 5 stars if the backs/stems had been a little heftier, but all-in-all, a good purchase.

My grand daughter was standing next to me as I opened my Tanzanite Studs. I don't know who wispered WOW first. They were breathtakingly beautiful. So beautiful I presented them to my spell bound 16 year old grand daughter. She put them on immediately and began to show them to friends, neighbors even people in the grocery store. I will have to admit they look very pretty in her ears. The only thing left for me to do is to order a pair for my self and await patiently for them to come because I know how beautiful Tanzanite is.

I love tanzanite, which is why I ordered these earrings. Unfortunately, they do not match. One is more indigo and one is more lavendar so when I wear them together, people notice and say something about it. I know it is almost impoassible to find two tanzanites that match the exact same color, but these are not the same tone. I waited too long to wear them out and didn't notice until I was out of the house in sunlight, so I missed the return policy by 2 days. They are beautiful and a good price, so if you order them, just make sure you compare them together in the light to make sure the color is close enough for your liking. I'm sure the seller didn't do it on purpose. They look the same in dim light when there is no reflecting light.

I have to give this a full 5 stars because of the nice color. They are very small, and are meant to be. I am buying this for my 10 year old granddaughter. It will be just the right size for her. I buy a lot of tanzanite. I love jewelry and I love tanzanite. It is common to be sent a very light color so the jeweler can make money. However these were a beautiful color!

This product is definitely not AAA grade, more like a A or A- grade. My wife has a AAA grade ring which is really blueish purple color like the picture shown here, but what I received is very light color stone and smaller than usual o.5 carat stone size. Not worth the cheap price I paid for.

Got these as a Valentines day gift and they are absolutely beautiful! The color IS a little lighter than the picture but they are still amazing looking. Bigger than I was expecting. Very pleased... Only complaint is the extremely odd backs that get lost very easily and are hard to grasp. Other than that I LOVE these and am glad to finally own some beautiful Tanzanit studs.
