Absolutely AMAZING!
For starters, this box was reasonably priced at $229. However, I opted to buy "used like new" when it arrived I opened it and expected some dings or tears in the material, but this thing was absolutely flawless. It looked brand new. I chose this particular box because of its newly added port as the older ones sounded a little punchy. It's got a contoured back so it fits in my 2013 Dodge Ram perfectly flush and doesn't move around like my previous flat backed box. It was basically plug and play, as everything was already wired up internally so I didn't have to make any modifications. My amp was already pre-installed, and it is a 1000W Rockford Fosgate. I had to tone it down a little bit for the initial break in period of the speakers, I took it easy on them for about a week and let me tell you, these things POUND! 1200 watts each, and they handle the amp well. These at first by their price seemed a little bit lower end on the spectrum, but I was dead wrong. You can spend more money if you want, but the results I've gotten out of these speakers have me slack jawed. Because of the newly added Port they've done to The Terminator box, the differences are very noticeable. I've considered buying another one just to have on standby should I ever blow them. But that seems doubtful as I've run them pretty hard. Couldn't be more pleased with these, and I got almost $100 off for buying used like new. Way to go MTX for upping your game! By the way little side note, got it delivered in one day, so Amazon gets a shout out as well 🤘

Best bang for the buck
Arrived in less than one week. Immediately threw them in the trunk with the same amps I already had installed and they sound great. Significant improvement in the stock sound for my Camry. I previously had Kickers which were louder but had a much bigger box and heavier. Now I have more trunk space and great bass in my music. The quality is unmatched for the price. I paid $200 for the vented box with 12” MTX which is half the price of the Kickers but still excellent sound. These add just the right amount of punch to the kickdrum and smooth clear bass that won’t drown out the mids and highs. If you want clear sound in your car get these. If you want to crack your windshield and collapse your kid’s lungs get Kickers. Very satisfied.

wouldnt recommend
the enclosure is made well enough, but these sub in NO WAY handle 2000w max. i have a 1000w us amp, and after a decent break in period, i kicked it up a bit. within 2 minutes i could smell the voice coils starting to toast. mtx was a good and common brand back in the 90s, but as others have reported on here, they are definitely of lesser quality now. they did not survive even HALF of what they say theyre rated to handle. ill re-use the box, but go with a better brand of speaker to put in it. i wouldnt recommend this product!

Pretty good for hip hop and rap
Not a terrible starter system for any car that needs bass, but don't expect mind-blowing sound quality here. It does however pump out plenty of volume, and goes fairly deep. Can't really keep up with metal/ faster rock music, but definitely does the job with modern pop and hip hop. I'm not sure if I would buy this again for my personal tastes, but if you just want something loud and cheap this will definitely work for you. I might go for a single 12" but with better SQ next time, as I don't really need all the volume these put out. But sometimes it's fun to just slam some bass as loud as you can.

Low and loud with every style of music.
Vented MTX enclosure paired with Rockford Fosgate Prime 500 amp on a factory 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited head unit. It’s a great set up. Know how to set your amp up and get an amp with a remote gain control. It’s the only way you will ever get the most out of any music in any system. If you set it and forget it some music will be weak and some will be distorted. I have had many expensive systems and this is as good as any of them. You will get a ticket if you crank it and yes it will piss the neighbors off. If you want to drain your vehicles battery, spend a ton of time and money to shake the house a mile a way then go 100% custom. Build your own box and drain your account while destroying your hearing. Been there and done that not worth it. Save your money instead of impressing no one but your friends for 5 minutes. This is a great set up that will last you for years. Rear face the subs in your trunk of cargo area with grills over the subs. You now have bass.
