Makes fabulous ice. Using bottled water. Pretty and great quality. Transfer ice to a freezer container and use it when you know you’re going to need more. The ice sticks together in the freezer so get an ice pick. We fill ours up and turn it on when we’re up because it’s a little bit noisy. I love this!

I love this ice maker! Our new refrigerator will not easily hook up to our old plumbing, so we have bought bags of ice for the last few years. I could have bought several of these in that time!The more you use it, the better it gets, so don't be discouraged when you first use it. A few hours after I starmrted it, the ice got bigger and much harder. It works SUPER FAST! I can fill my freezer ice box within a few hours with this gem. The fact that I can take it anywhere is awesome too! Weddings, camping trips, parties, etc. We have used it for several big occasions, drooping the ice into coolers. We did start with bags of ice and used this to keep it filled as rhe event went on.The ice will melt if you don't take it out and transfer to cooler or freezer. But I wait for the basket to fill, then transfer it. The ice stays frozen during that time, but it does melt slightly. The ice is VERY easy to break apart when it sticks together, and the ice solid, doesn't melt super fast when you add it to your drink.Overall, I am extremely happy with this little gem!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this ice maker for my husband after obsessively reviewing options (the multitude was, frankly, overwhelming).The good: it’s compact, heavy and sleek. It makes ice quickly, and the quality of the ice (pellets) is exactly what we wanted.The bad: it’s not self-sustaining. Both the water reservoir and ice reservoirs are small, and the ice builds up towards the top, resulting in the machine believing it is full. You have to scoop it downwards into the reservoir so it’ll continue making ice. It melts relatively quickly, as well, and it hums any time it’s making ice.Overall, the product works for our family of two and we’ve gotten a lot of use out of it, but I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a 2-3 person household.Protip: the sides of the maker are metal, making storing a scoop a breeze!

Been wanting a countertop ice maker for a long time. Decided it was time since warm weather is closing in and we love sun tea. Scoured all the various reviews of different makes and this one so far has had the best rep for reliability.Just follow the directions on first time use and it’s a breeze after that. Do not just plug it in right away as you need to make sure the Freon has settled properly from shipment. Let it rest upright a couple hours and remove all the tape and wash it out thoroughly.I was really amazed at how quickly it begins dumping ice in the basket. 9 cubes about every six minutes. It’s been working just fine for about two weeks now. I did purchase the 5 yr extended warranty for $5.00 because I know it won’t last forever.It’s not loud or blows out a lot of warm air from the fan to keep it's cooling capacity at a good performance, but doesn’t make your kitchen heat up.

Lasted less than 6 months and then started making grinding sound so loud I had to turn it off. I looked on YouTube for how to fix it and tried everything with no results. If you buy one of these - get the extended warranty!

I love this ice-maker! My fridge is not plumbed in to the water supply so using it to make and serve ice is a chore. Now that I have this machine, I keep it on all day and it keeps me supplied with ice, turning off when the receptacle is full. The "large" setting gives me perfectly sized ice cubes - more like small ice cylinders. The fan is audible but not too much so, and the sound of the ice dropping into the receptacle at regular intervals until full, pleases me. When I queried customer support about a function of the machine, I found their response fast and accurate.

I love this thing! It works exactly as advertised! Give it about an hour and you have plenty of ice. Be warned, you'll need to move the ice into something else if you intend to store it. Frankly, this is the only one that I found which would ship to an FPO AP address, which is why I bought it, but this thing has met or exceeded all of my expectations!
