I love these bars. As a vegan it can be hard to find treats. Well, I’ve found my new favorite.

Slim mint bar is lower sugar than dark or milk types, ice pack left condensation like water vapor on one boxes, order it when know it won't go thru a heat wave. Bar itself was yummy. It didn't feel like giving me extra with added sugars, I would liked if they came out dark slim and yogurt slim.

We've been buying NuGo Slim for years, because there are times when one does not want a full meal, or one lacks time. That doesn't mean one should have to eat a lot of sugar, or (ugh) palm oil. Good news is one doesn't need to, as NuGo Slim's Chocolate Brownie Crunch is made with cocoa butter, plus it has only 3 grams of sugar. There was a note card that said, "You deserve this!" It explained that the product is shipped in a "customized cool shipping material that is environmentally sound. Made from fully recycled materials and can be recycled curbside." It also mentioned that if the eco-pack of blue ice had melted, the dark chocolate would be fine, as it doesn't need refrigeration, just not supposed to be allowed to get too warm. I already knew this. In fact, it is one of the reasons we like these, but for new customers it's good to know. We decided to do two things. One was to put the ice pack in the freezer for future use and save the sturdy box for shipping something this Christmas. The other was to let other customers know about the upgraded shipping and just how good these bars are, especially compared some of the newer light meal or delayed meal/snack substitutes we have tried. By delayed meal/snack substitutes, we mean the sort of thing one eats when it has been a little too long since the last meal, and one has to work late, or one's significant other won't be able to get back for dinner at a reasonable time. Mother always said, "Don't spoil your dinner!" These won't, in our experience. Just don't overdo dinner, as one might very well have done if one had gotten too hungry while waiting.

I hate protein bars. They always have a weird aftertaste & often are so thick & dense. These are the one exception I have found. They are light & not super dense. They taste really good, which I was not expecting. There is no gross aftertaste. They are really good! I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tried one. I've now been having one of these bars for breakfast every day for about 6 months.

I love the taste and texture of these and always have one in my bag. If one were to eat this doing a blind taste test, they would not know it was a healthy, protein-packed bar. I'm a Chef-- most of these healthy food are not palatable for me.
