Works as it should. Read it and badaboom you know how much rain you got. The very thin aluminum mounting pieces is like paper thin though so be very careful.

This gauge is perfect for what I wanted, wanted to get them before the rains come. First ones arrived and one was broken. I let seller know and immediately received a replacement! I could not be happier with product or service.
