Seems to be effective
Haven't even been using it a lot but the scars on my hands have visibly lessened including old ones. No particular smell and doesn't feel sticky or greasy or anything. Great!

Expensive but only gel that works
Bought this product previous and it got rid of a few of my scars. Then I used an alternative but cheaper and had no results. For the people who say it doesn’t work, I suggest rubbing it in for a few minutes and wrap the scar with cello tape to lock in the moisture. Leave for 24hrs and repeat.

Too Expensive
I have been using this now for 10 days on my Keloid Scars and have already used half a tube, I am not sure how you are supposed to massage it in for 3-5 minutes as it has already rubbed in after about 30 seconds. I know it is early days but it is too expensive to continue to buy. I think I will try vitamin E oil.

Didn’t do anything
I wasn’t expecting a miracle but this didn’t have any effect. More like a general moisturiser or silicone primer.

Very disappointed-Not worth it
Used it for 5+months with poor results. The hypertrophic scar on my face did not fade at all. After applying it, it shrinks the scar slightly for a day and goes back to it the next day. Over time, the gel developed an odd scent. I paid £25, not worth £5 in my opinion.

Our family has used this silicone scar gel three times with great results. A few years ago my daughter had surgery and the doctor recommended a silicone scar gel, we found this one on Amazon and gave it a try. It worked great, and her scar has completely resolved. Great end result! Then I thought I would try it on an old scar on my neck (from 10 years prior) and I was so pleased with the result. The old scar is no longer visible. Though it took a full 8 weeks of applying twice per day. It was very worth it. Then this past spring (March 2022)I broke my wrist and had to have surgery with screws and a plate placed. After surgery I went back through my Amazon orders to find the silicone scar gel we had used because we were so happy with the previous results. I knew that when my cast came off, I wanted to use this on my scar. I ordered the same one we had used previously and have been using it for a month and a half now. The scar is slowly resolving and hardly has any redness any longer and is fading. I am still using the silicone scar gel twice per day. Speaking from experience with this product I would highly recommend it to you...you will not be disappointed!

I have had this product for three weeks now. I also have the Silicone Scar Tape by the same manufacturer so please look for that review as well. I used this product instead of the tape for the first week. It is easy to apply and feels nice going on. It does take longer to apply than the tape as the directions say to massage into the area for 2-3 minutes which seems long. Also, the tape can be applied once and left on for days where this product says it should be applied 2-3 times per day. I have not used this product long enough to discuss how it works on scar healing. I am starting to try it on older scars and so I will update on that in the future if I stick with it long enough. The one very nice aspect of this product is that it dries completely clear. You can feel it is there with your fingers, but it is not visible which is not the case with the tape. This is good for hiding the product while using it, but I am not sure how best to protect the scar from the sun as it is completely clear. The tape is very much not clear and so I assume it is providing better sun protection. If you are looking for a scar healing product that is not visitable and do not mind having to apply it more often and can protect the scar from the sun by other means, this is a very nice product, assuming it functions as stated and will actually improve/remove scars. (Note: I was asked by the distributor to write this review. I have only commented on the parts I was able to attest to personally and I stand behind those comments.

Summary: I was really skeptical of all the reviews saying "wow, after (1/2/5) uses I can tell a difference!" Well, after about 2 weeks of using this day and night, I can attest that it works. My scars are noticeably softer and paler than they were. For reference: I have two linear surgical scars, about a hand's length (palm to fingertip) long each. My operation was May 18, I began silicone scar care on June 16, and it is currently July 2. How I use it: I take a generous dobble (maybe a hefty pea's worth) of cream for each scar. I smear it along the length, then I rub it in using a little rolly thing (from Sparthos on Amazon), with a circular motion, for about 30 seconds per scar. Pros: - nice texture - absorbs quickly - does not seem to stain clothing, although I always rub it in well before putting a shirt on - a little goes a long way-- I got a second tube because my scars are so long and I'm supposed to do this for 6 more weeks, but my first tube is maybe 1/3 gone at most. Cons: - can get sticky on your skin - does take time to work, you have to be patient, I'm very bad at that
