King Oscar Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Hot Jalapeno Peppers, 3.8 Pound (Pack of 12)

These are so fresh and tasty. I have a hard time eating any other brand of sardines.

Excellent quality has been consistent for decades. It can be counted on. Something I also really appreciate is the can lid can be completely removed from the tin with no effort when opening. I eat a lot of sardines all over the world. Absolute best.

Got the wrong flavor but quite surprised that I really like the Dijon. I add tomatoes, a Lyle bit of milk for some sauce and squeeze a whole lime for added flair and acidity. Nice combination of spicy and savory my favorite flavors. I top it off with chili oil on a bed of rice. I think the 12pk is a fair deal for the price. Love that the skin on the fillet for added nutrients. This would be by go-to meal when my days are busy and tired. I have this on. Subscribe and save. My go to recipe is sautee sliced onion seasoned with salt, garlic and onion powder. Add slice cherry tomatoes until cooked down. And more seasonings, then add broth and coconut cream/milk with the juice of a whole lime. Chuck a dried Thai chili pepper for that added kick. Then add the mustard sardines. Let it simmer on low heat. Then lastly spoon over a hot bed of rice! Oooh yum!

Was expecting more from this brand. Sardines had a really fish taste and so tiny. It’s relative to the polar brand however I would say polar has a less fishy taste. I might just be used to the skinless boneless filets.

They need to be packed different when mailed. One can was busted open and leaked all in the bag it was mailed in. Other then that, it was good.
