Using long-nosed pliers to tweak the clasps on your partial is very risky since they transfer the bending stress toward the inner part of the partial, under the acrylic where the teeth are. Three prong pliers keep the stress outside. Ever watch what your dentist uses to adjust the clasps to keep from breaking them? Here it is.
