I finally had to retire my cameo 1 after 11 years. I opted for the 5 after doing my research and I am not disappointed. I've only used it for cutting cardstock and vinyl stickers but it cuts beautifully and a lot more quietly than the 1. There's not much of a learning curve to the 5 from the 1 although I did need a refresher course as I've not used my cameo in ages. The value is worth the money. The only thing I'll fuss about is the clacking sound it makes when changing blade depth. Eek! It startled me the first time haha

Works really well. Main selling point on this vs the cricut was that it doesn't require an online connection. The software is easy to use and the cut quality is excellent.

I’ve used these mats for many years with my former cameo and these new mats work equally as well. I highly recommend them.

i'm not sure if it is any good. I had to return it because it had been previously opened when I tried to register it had already been registered
