I searched several stores was told there was shortage of leather furniture. Could take at least 10 months. The leather quality was bad. Clearly would peel and crack. NO TOP GRAIN LEATHER WHATSOEVER. Nervous to order online big ticket item w/o testing comfort. Had them 1 day. Firmer than expected but there IS suspension and padding. I soon got used to it and it is comfortable. Wish more neck support, also easily solved with sofa cushion. First sofa I found that is comfortable sitting straight up. Leather is good quality. Looks good. Love deep storage in arms. Some say led lights too bright. I love them; gently reflect on my baseboards. Accessory ports stylish. Getting tray table. Maybe also smartpad stand when this co. gets supplied. The company, represented by Peter, is the most accommodating, responsive customer service I have experienced in 30 yrs. Amazon is great, but I had some complexity in my circumstances. Delivery team great! I expect this 2-seater to last well. People have said pricey, but for this quality it is very reasonable. And I got it in just a few weeks! Fantastic! Wished I hadn't wasted time and energy going to showrooms. I wouldn't delay; it seems there really may be a shortage in durable goods.

It was well beyond time for us to get a new couch and I wanted something that was comfortable, well-made, reclined, and had lumbar support. I looked through many options and saw connected theater seats were a great option. Realizing that a decent reclining couch with the basic options we wanted was going to be at least $1500, I bit the bullet and decided that with these options, it made sense to go a bit more upscale, especially since so few couches had the lumbar support customization we needed. Finding that we could get free Prime shipping and finance it with our Amazon card over 12 months made me realize it could be a reality. Within 2 hours of clicking the buy button on Amazon, the great company service started to show: I was contacted by a service rep to verify my address and given a personal line to call. Three days before delivery, I got another call giving me a date and 4 hr window for a delivery. Our driver couldn't find our address at first but came back and left the boxes right at our front door. One thing I wish that I had done was to better understand that you will receive 2 boxes that weigh 110 lbs each shrink wrapped on a pallet, so get help as you need it! We also had steep stairs to our loft so getting the boxes upstairs was a bit of a struggle. Other than that, a breeze: assembly was completed in minutes by watching a 3 min video on your phone as a walkthrough- they even had a sticker over the box opening for you to scan the instruction video QR code. I went out for a quick 15 min to grab a bottle of wine to celebrate our new seating and returned to find my friend relaxing on the couch! And it is DEFINITELY relaxing! While it is true that the foot and back recliner aren't independent, you aren't laying back that far at all with your feet up - the back reclines much farther when you want to fully lie down. I also love that we can turn the lighting off, (which many models don't have), and that in receiving this on a 90 degree day in an upstairs room not that well air conditioned that the leather felt cool and comfortable. 3 storage areas for remotes, snacks, a book or two are also great and it's also seriously "compact" in the arm room which I like; the space is given to the seats, not an overstuffed armrest. Bottom line is that we are very happy with our purchase!

High Quality leather home theater seating. I got the two-chair Tuscany in black. It came in two cardboard boxes wrapped together in plastic wrap. Each box is only 29-30" tall so I was able to rotate each on its side and wheel them one by one through a standard doorway with a hand truck (dolly.) They are well packaged and there was no damage. They are easy to setup and assembly is a breeze. They have a qr code on the outside of the box to link to a video on how to unbox and assemble. The seats are quite firm but very comfortable. I'm 5'9" 175 lbs adult male and the fit is very good. My heels are right at the bottom edge of the foot rest when extended. As for width, there is room for me to put both arms down on the seat between my hips and the inside of the armrests. The extension of the recline is sufficient. I like that the headrest can be adjusted independently. This way you can be fully reclined but still see the TV. The lumbar is nice but so far it is comfortable without needing to use this feature. There is ample storage under the armrests for books, tablets, laptops, whatever you want. The armrests lift up easily and have a little strut that holds them up kind of like a car hood. Very nice. The cup holders are good to have and you can adjust the lighting between different colors or turn it off. The only thing i think could be improved is the location of the usb port. Being on the inside of the armrest with the controls means that the usb plug could be damaged by someone sitting on it. It might be safer to relocate this to the inside of the armrest? Not really an issue for me but it might be for someone larger. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again. It seems built to last. Great customer service that reached out ahead of time to coordinate delivery times. Highly recommend Valencia. This is my second purchase from them and i doubt it will be my last!

I bought a pair of the two-seat version to replace some ~5 year old Octane XL700's. So far I'm very happy with the Valencia Tuscany seating. They're definitely firm, but I'd rather have that and break them in than get something too cushy soft now and have the support totally collapse in a couple years. Each seat has it's own 120V power cord, so plan ahead for necessary plugs nearby. Construction quality seems quite good. The only sketchy thing I noticed was that the 24V power supplies built into the seats were wedged in place with a piece of folded up cardboard. Not great, but it seems to work just fine. The power lumbar support works well, but the main thing I appreciate is the power headrest. My previous Octane seats lacked that and while they were comfortable while reclined, if seated upright the headrest pushed your head 'down' too much. These Tuscany seats let you adjust to your liking. The backs *could* be a little taller for some people (the headrest might not go up quite far enough for taller people), but the tradeoff is if they're too high then your rear speaker channels get blocked... So these are probably a good compromise as-is. The included tray tables are "ok"-- just plastic with a faux carbon fiber finish. The leather quality seems quite nice and the recline operation is very quiet. So far there's no annoying leather squeaking when the seat moves. Hopefully that remains the case as the squeaking of my old XL700's (no matter how often they were cleaned and the leather conditioned) were a large factor in replacing them entirely after five years of use. I don't use the LED lighting as it throws waaaaay too much blue light on my projection screen. The chairs arrive by freight in large boxes and are really a two-person job to unload/transport. They're fairly heavy (~135-165lbs depending on the piece) but mostly just very awkward to try to lift/carry by yourself. I was able to unbox/assemble/position them just fine without any assistance after getting them on to a handcart (one at a time) and inside the house. All in all, so far so good. They're definitely a better value than my old seats which were about the same price when I bought them (and they're even more expensive today) but the features and quality on the Valencia version seems superior.

Update on 5/18/2023, today my replacement seat back was delivered "white glove" and setup. The customer support for the fix was very good, thanks Bethany! I'd feel comfortable ordering furniture again from this company. Very satisfied with my chairs and overall purchase after being taken care of. Things can arrive sometimes in a bad state, and we depend on the company to make it right. The broken chair back was likely due to a knot in the wood or some failed part. Glad to have everything back and right. ---------------- This is an honest review of someone who ordered these chairs. I ordered these chairs sight unseen from Amazon in March 2023 based on reviews from YouTube and Amazon. They delivered within a reasonable time frame and were easy to assemble. The two chairs are very attractive and the leather seems to be high quality. These chairs are placed in an Office/TV sitting room and have only had minimal use (watched 3 movies total) in the past two weeks. The only users of the chairs are adults only of height/weight 5'10" 190lbs. During use one of the chairs was in a reclined position, about 50% back, and it suddenly made a "popping" sound and the seat back fell back another 10 inches. It was clear at the time something had broken or the metal hinges had failed. The chair back would not return to the normal position using the electric recline mechanism or manually. The seat back was removed from the base by releasing the metal hinges and it was obvious the chair back bracket was broken. See the uploaded video. It's quite concerning to me that within the first month I would experience such a failure in the unit. I didn't see any reviews or reports of similar mechanical or hardware issues. I've reported the failure to the manufacturer via email so hopefully they will respond and correct the issue. If the manufacturer responds and corrects the issue in a timely manner, I will return to this review and change the overall rating, otherwise I will be returning the furniture.
