All i needed to do is slide a single button to "on," and it starts recording instantly, so a very quick setup. The strong magnet on the device allows me to attach it to a metal surface, ensuring it stays in place during meetings, and eliminating any chance of it being knocked around (something I've found happens all too often with other recorders, causing recordings to be taken from the floor). With 128GB memory and a long-lasting battery, I have never had to worry about running out of storage or power. I've successfully recorded 6 hours of audio without any issues. Connecting to a computer is a easy, and had no trouble transferring the recorded files to my Mac (I'm told Windows compatibility is also available). The voice activation feature is optional, and while I can see its usefulness in certain situations,. I prefer to keep it off. The AI noise reduction function appears to work as intended. In summary, this recorder meets all the advertised specifications and performs well. There's little room for improvement; it simply works as intended.

Great product works really well, would record when it hears a sound and then turns off to conserve battery. Long lasting and clear audio quality. Highly recommend for classroom setting or meeting recording sessions or any other sound recording purpose!

I bought this as a proof of concept for our CERT program. It seems to work as advertised so far, but more time will tell. That's not the reason for only 4 stars. The first problem was the documentation - no mention of where the mic opening is. The seller kindly sent me a picture (much better than trying to sort out Chinenglish). The bigger problem was the lack of a secure mounting option for SAR gear. I'm trying two DIY solutions, shown in the attached pics, for mounting to my radio strap. Again, time will tell, but both seem secure and give good access to the switches. The molle attachment is available on Amazon. Good product.

Needs better adjustment tuning for auto recording, I played around with the gain function and it basically either picks up hardly anything or everything, it was a real hassle. Ended up returning. Other than that which was a deal breaker for me, all the other features, battery life, sound quality, etc, were great.
