









Details:FingerPress was created to straighten a bent finger, also known as PIP Flexion Contracture, without invasive surgery.Indications:FingerPress is used to extend stiffly bent finger joints caused by injury, surgery, immobilization, or Dupuytren's Contracture. Ask your hand therapist before using FingerPress if you have arthritis or trigger finger.Instructions:We recommend working with a hand therapist who can tell you how to fit the device and how much you should wear it. Refer to the illustrated product information sheets.1. Hold the device in the unaffected hand2. Pull the slide all the way back until it swings down with the palm pad to enlarge the opening3. Insert the affected finger until the PIP joint rests between the two upper pads4. Swing the slide back up and into place under the fingertip5. Press the slide forward to apply pressure and set the ratchet at maximum extension6. Monitor fingertip and relieve pressure if circulation or sensation is lost7. Free the ratchet by squeezing or tapping the end as shownSizing Guide:Measure the width of the affected PIP joint in millimeters, rounding up. If you do not have calipers, you can measure with a ruler.
