I purchased this mattress top for my new mattress to go on top because the sinking and feeling that you get with the memory foam is just a little too much. This does a great job of adding an extra comfort layer that feels very supportive and is very responsive. You can expect there to be some places where they’re are bubbles which have popped especially if you get a piece that was sliced from the middle of like what I assume is like a block of latex I purchased the 1 inch mattress topper and that is plenty for subduing a memory foam feel or just adding a bit extra plus I also noticed that I sleep a bit cooler now thanks to the latex latex doesn’t retain as much heat as something like a memory foam the thickness is perfectly fine and I expect this mattress topper to last a long time given the wonderful quality, it isn’t noisy whatsoever, and it doesn’t a decent job of protecting the mattress I assume if I spilled water on it, it will do a good job of keeping that off of my mattress given the waterproof properties of latex and like I said, I am extremely impressed with how cool I sleep now given that I sleep really hot.

THIS TURNED OUT TO BE THE PERFECT CHOICE. I SPENT MUCH TIME REVIEWING THE MATTRESS TOPPERS AND IT PAID OFF. HE STAYS IN HIS BED ALL NIGHT. THIS (LATEX) DOES NOT GET HOT LIKE THE FOAM PADS, AND IT IS SOFTER TO LAY ON. IT ALSO HAS A VERY LONG LIFE, DOES NOT BREAK DOWN LIKE FOAM DOES. I BOUGHT A FULL SIZE AND I USED THE OTHER HALF OF THIS TO PUT ON HALF OF MY MATTRESS, AND I LOVE IT. THIS IS ONLY 1 INCH THICK, AND MY MATTRESS IS SO MUCH SOFTER . (A BIG DIFFERENCE SOFTER). I CAN NOW LAY ON MY SIDE AND NOT HAVE MY HIP HURT, AND THIS IS ONLY THE 1 INCH THICKNESS. SO NOW I HAVE TO GET ONE FOR MY MY BED. (ONE THAT FITS THE WHOLE MATTRESS). IT PAYS OFF TO DO THE REVIEW WORK AND CHECK THINGS OUT BEFORE YOU BUY. THIS SUMMER I PAID $120.00 FOR A TOPPER (AT JC PENNEY) THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE "COOLING", AND I NEVER SWEATED SO MUCH IN MY LIFE, ON TOP OF THAT THE THING WEIGHED A TON. I HAD ALL I COULD DO TO CARRY THE THING FROM THE STORE TO THE CAR, AND THEN BACK AGAIN. THIS WAS MUCH CHEAPER, MUCH LIGHTER, IT WORKS MUCH MUCH BETTER (COOLER AND SOFTER), AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO MY FRONT DOOR. YES, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS!

I have fibro and RA. I bought a 1" topper and it was not enough. I bought a 2" topper and put on top. 3" of soft latex, 3" of medium firm support on top of 4" of base foam. . I was hoping this would support softly and not make me feel like I'm stuck in a hole and can't roll over. These toppers, I stay on top of them, no sinking feeling, but no relief either. I wake up and my hips and shoulders are hurting bad. Maybe they're great for others, but not for me.

I used this 1 inch Dunlop latex topper inside the cheapest sleep number bed, over the air bladder, under the upper ticking. This c2 model of mattress has no cushioning at all between the air bladder and the zippered mattress top, and when you set the number to soften the mattress, the air bladder shrinks down a bit, making the firmer foam edges a bit higher than the inside area. The one inch foam topper filled this in, to make the bed level while at a softer setting, and also give a little cushion over the hard air bladder. Had to trim it down a bit to fit it within the foam borders, to the size of the air bladder, but it worked perfectly. Not sleeping directly on this foam...added a thicker talalay layer on top of the whole mattress for that, but this is a good item.

This is a fairly well made pad. I loved that it had NO odor. The pre-drilled holes were a bit off here and there, but that doesn't affect the quality of the pad. I bought this to use on top of a very firm 5-inch foam mattress inside my camper. The 1-inch pad did make an improvement in my sleeping comfort, but if I had it to do over I'd have bought one a bit thicker. For someone 100-150 lbs, that 1-inch would probably be perfect, but for my 210-pound body it didn't give me quite as much added comfort as I'd hoped. But this is definitely a good quality foam and well worth the cost. The 1-inch pad is also extremely easy to cut with scissors so it can easily be modified to the size you need.
