This tea arrived in the time frame promised and is a nice addition to my cabinet of herbal teas. I can taste and smell the peppermint, and just a bit added to other flavors makes a nice blend. The texture and size of the leaves is perfect for my Breville basket tea maker, allowing it to steep and not infiltrate the tea liquid. I'm also finding that a little bit goes a long way in terms of strength and taste. It's a good tea to try if you like loose leaf tea.

The medium-coarse grind works perfectly in a French press, brewing evenly and cleanly. It also blends really well with creamer, which adds a nice touch of richness without overpowering the natural flavor. Overall, a great-tasting barley roast with a smooth profile and versatile brewing options. Highly recommended!

Yummy! The taste is definitely not coffee-like, but delicious nevertheless. This is NOT instant; it must be steeped or brewed, which is just fine with me. I didn't realize that until I got it. The package does mention that fact, labeling it as "filter grind." This tastes different than the instant varieties of coffee substitutes such as Roma, Cafix, Pero, and Orzo Buono (Italian soluable barley drink). It's more dark and strong. I really like it and so do several people I've served it to.
