Mosky Golden Horse Overdrive Boost Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar with True Bypass

It’s not exactly a perfect Klon clone, the lows are cut a bit too much, but it’s a really great pedal that’s a no brainer for the cost. The tones are outstanding and very useful as a front end to nearly any amp or to stack with other gain pedals to get your rhythm and lead tones… Highly recommended.

As good as my « archer » pedal sonically, in my setup it’s super quiet. Compared to the Klondike centaur you save like 6950$ and you get room for 3 more pedals 😂. Don’t let people convince you otherwise, this pedal sounds amazing. (Btw I played professionally for 20 years and I’m a super gear snob).

I bought the Mosky Gold Horse after trying a friends EHX Soul Food. I like it because it pushes my tele bridge pickup with a mid hump through my Princeton but not like a tube screamer. It’s not a too gainy OD but you can pull off some AC/DC amount of gain. It seems solid. The knobs respond well. It is small and sounds mean. I hate the super bright blue led. It can be a perfect clean boost as well. It’s cheap and sounds about 90% like other Klones. I don’t think anybody is going to know the difference when you’re joined by other instruments in a room.

Definitely a good pedal for the price. Get that Klon sound on a budget.

La pédale produit un overdrive qui ressemble à un vieil ampli Fender en overdrive. Seul problème, lorsque je l'utilise avec d'autre pédales connectées à un 1SPOT, elle introduit un bruit de boucle de masse (ground hum cycle). Je devrais peut-être l'isolé. Mais, pour le moment, elle fonctionne parfaitement en solo. ;-)
