Purchased this for my vertically challenged wife who was complaining that during the "low sun in the west days" she was unable to get her visor to shield her eyes properly. It doesn't reach that low and she doesn't sit high enough. The problem is now completely solved. This cushion is thick enough to elevate her properly and also helps on cold mornings when the leather car seat can be cold to sit on. I have had to move here car from the garage a few times and have sat on this booster cushion myself. Let me tell you that I have not sat on such a comfortable cushion as this one ever before. Unfortunately for me, it really does boost you and I don't need boosting with my height if I were to get one for my car. Fortunately for her, she is boosted, has a comfortable seating cushion and keeps her tush warm when needed.

My wife ended up buying a second one as she drives a school bus and one for her car. She is a little short so she sits about 3 or 4 inches taller and the pillow is comfortable. She likes them!

On the many recent occasions when I--a human of only 5'3"--have used this cushion at my computer desk, it has indeed elevated my height, provided much comfort, and made typing far more ergonomic. Fun fact: the so-called standard 30" computer desk height is intended for people between 5'8" to 5'10". Most importantly, however: thanks to this cushion I now know exactly where to find my cat whenever I am not at my computer desk. Unless it's feeding time and there is piercing meowing coming from the kitchen, this booster seat is occupied by my feline. Please note that he is considerably shorter than 5'3" but still very much enjoys the slightly raised views as well as the kitty-spinal-body support and cushioning. The black material is especially agreeable, as it has good texture for many hours of resting and does not pick up too much of his hair, which he would rather save for other occasions such as tactical pre-dawn wet-form distributions in places I will groggily step before I have had coffee. I highly recommend this cat cushion and may have to buy another one for the home, as it does have a number of secondary uses for humans.

This SEAHOME cushion isn't memory foam so it stays the same height, which is great for eating at a table that's a bit too high. Works great for playing games or puzzles too. Comfy on a wood chair, too. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Let’s get something straight—this is not a booster cushion. It’s a glorified couch pillow pretending to be helpful. I bought it so the neck rest on my couch would stop shoving my head forward like I owed it money. I figured a little height boost would help the headrest hit where it’s supposed to (you know, the cervical spine, not the top of my skull). It claims to raise you by 4.7 inches. That’s cute. Maybe if you weigh 10 pounds and sit very, very gently. The second you put actual human weight on it, it compresses down to about an inch—if you’re lucky and not built like a linebacker. Oh, and it’s narrow. Like, “hope you enjoy sitting with your cheeks fighting for real estate” narrow. If you’ve got hips or a booty, this thing feels like balancing on an overstuffed potholder. And let’s talk about how it showed up—no box, no padding, no envelope. Just shrink-wrapped in plastic like it was trying to sneak across the border in your luggage. It fluffed up a little over several hours, but the logic is wild: if it comes compressed and fluffs up with air, how exactly is it supposed to lift you once you sit on it again? Spoiler: it doesn’t. It flattens right back down like the lie it is. They say it’s “not easily deformed.” Bold of them to assume the existing lumps aren’t already deformities in progress. Who’s to say those lumps aren’t just biding their time before they fully unite into one mega-wrinkle of regret? Soft? Yes. Cute little handle? Sure. If you’re tiny and need just a bit of height, go for it. Everyone else: this is not your throne.

I have had this cushion for a year. True to the description, the cushion keeps Its shape. Also, it feels soft and “cushy” like a traditional cushion. (I’ve never understood what there is to like about memory foam, which conforms to body contours, but then feels hard.) Also, the thickness of it is substantial. Even though I am of average height, I always feel that tables are too high relative to the height of an average chair. This cushion raises me up just enough to feel comfortable while eating. Another reason I purchased this: the faux leather of our dining chairs gets cold in the winter. The cushion seems to stay at room temperature. …much more comfortable! I have three of them. Solid product.

If you are short this cushion gives you a couple inches to enable you to see better while driving.l
