Rockport Men's Sharp and Ready Colben Oxford

Comfortable, fit perfectly at size 13. Pretty comfortable, no squeaking like some have noted... I would say they run a little large because I often have to go with size 14, but 13 was just right. Nice materials and look very nice

I learned with my last order of this Rockport style- order one size smaller and it works fine. I usually get a 10 but ordered a 9 and it was much better. While they are casual shoes I noticed others complimenting them and they are very comfortable, the cost is great. I bought them to replace much more expensive Ecco shoes. These are more comfortable and look better. I highly recommend them. They polish well and hold up well.

If you're interested in these shoes (possibly any other Rockports), I have two recommendations 1) Order at lest 1/2 a size smaller than your usual shoe size 2) Order a good pair of comfortable insoles, and immediately throw out the ones that come with the shoes When considering these shoes, I saw a couple of reviewers suggest ordering at least a 1/2 size down from your usual shoe. Despite those warnings, I ordered my usual size 11 since one reason I looked at Rockports was I wanted a roomy shoe for my wide feet. Sure enough, they felt over sized and clunky, like I was a kid wearing my big brother's hand-me-downs. They were so roomy I considered getting size 10, but exchanged them for 10.5 instead. The 10.5 pair fit much better, though I was tempted to go down even smaller. However, I needed new shoes (my old pair were literally falling apart) and didn't feel like doing the return/reorder dance again. After a week of wearing them to work, I noticed my feet and lower legs feeling very strained, which traveled up to my lower back. I remembered another reviewer recommended replacing the insoles immediately. So I picked some up, and it has made a WORLD of difference. They also reduce a bit of the excess roominess in the shoe. I'm not sure why Rockport uses such cheap insoles, this was the first time I ever had to replace what came with my shoe. Once I got them to fit and wear comfortable, I liked them quite a bit. I got black, and the brown leather layer above the sole looks sharp IMO. The width is very comfortable, which has always been a top concern for me with leather shoes. The sole is thick and appears quite durable. Once I put some polish on the black leather, they looked fantastic. Maybe more effort than some want to put into their shoes, but honestly they're a solid pair at a good price if you're aware of the issues above.

These are good looking, comfortable shoes. I did have to massage the leather at the heal a bit at first because it rubbed at the top. I frequently have this problem so dealing with it was not really a concern. They are a little darker than they appear on the screen—somewhere between milk chocolate and semi-sweat chocolate. They are light weight and comfortable, and actually look pretty sharp. They respond well to a little polish. A great choice with khakis or chinos.

Pleasant surprise to find a great all around shoe! While not a dress shoe these are great business casual shoes that provide support and comfort all day. I've also opted to take these to my son's outdoor football games, for a crisper look than sneakers. The laces are long but no big deal. The shoes are the deal.

They fit great are very comfortable around the office and light to walk in. I initially gave this product 5 stars but am retracting my stars a bit. I had ordered these shoes as a "back-up" pair to the ones I owned. I started wearing these in July of 2018. Now only a month in the shoe material as ripped at the sole. I am disappointed, especially since I can't return these as they were purchased back in September of 2017. Not sure what happened to this pair. Maybe just a bad batch or something? I still like the shoe for fit and comfort but am a little more wary of the brand.

I really like these classy blue suede shoes; they really dress-up blue jeans, and are upscale enough to work well with with navy blue or gray business attire. The natural leather suede has deep nap which is easily cleaned with stiff bristle suede brush. I've recently bought some made-in-China Rockport suede shoes that nap was far too thin. Whatever treatment performed during manufacture stretched and molded the leather to extent that resultant shoes retained heat & moisture, and the thin nap was extremely difficult to just quickly brush clean, instead they had to actually be washed. But these made-in-India Rockport suede shoes are all-day comfortable, because the soft leather top breathes well. The gray composite sole has flexibility for comfort, and is a good color match for the upper blue suede. However, composite soles simply do not breathe as well as leather soles, which have their own drawbacks; they not as flexible, and leather soles absorb water when walking on wet surfaces. On balance, these shoes were an ideal choice for me.

Material was comfortable to wear and the sole seems pretty hardy. Weight of the shoe is nice and light. The size might be a little bigger than expected but it's nothing that one can't live with. Overall, pretty good shoe
