Why did you pick this product vs others?: I grew up in Kenya so I was happy to see this favorite snack which is made in Kenya and then imported into the USA! Chevda is a great way to give regular chips some flavor with a side of spiciness... It's a little on the pricy side but well worth it occasionally.

I recently purchased this Masala Chevda from Amazon, and it’s hands down the best snack I’ve tried in a while! The perfect blend of spices gives it a savory kick, and the crunchy texture with nuts and chickpeas is incredibly satisfying. The packaging arrived fresh, and the flavor took me back to some of my favorite childhood memories. It’s not too spicy, making it a great treat for the whole family. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic and tasty snack—definitely worth every penny! I’ll be ordering more soon!

I got this as an edible stocking stuffer for my Kenyan wife and she practically cried with joy and excitement. She's been in the US for about 20 years but said they taste exactly how she remembers. They came FRESH and preserved. They were well packaged and undamaged. The PRICE was high but REASONABLE for an imported perishable, so I'd gladly pay it again, (and I will). The AMERICAN perspective: I think they are delicious too; and I'm not just being kind. The spicy-sweet ratio is perfected to a degree that's unrivaled and the mix of the ingredients is great. For palette perspective my favorite snacks are nuts, peanuts, dill flavors, salt-vinager, jalapeño, flaming, etc). So it may just be right up my alley, but it's still a tasty snack that anyone will enjoy. If you are a Kenyan, my wife says there is no difference from the local market but in Nairobi. If you're not Kenyan, do yourself a favor and try something different and you'll be delighted, for sure.

Great flavor but missing a lot if the scrumptious peanuts I recall them having. Is my nostalgia interfering with my memory?

This snack is delicious but unfortunately this is way overpriced! My friend at work gets it online for $4 somewhere!
