Excellent Price for Chem with Shipping
Great lab chemical for a great price including shipping! Intro chemistry teachers: for an excellent and easy lab, have students dissolve ~3g of this cupric chloride in 20 mL water in a glass beaker, drop in an approx 2" x 2" square of lightly crumpled aluminum foil, and have them derive evidence that a chemical reaction is occurring. Can't beat this simple and memorable activity! Can also be used in flame tests, though I prefer the anhydrous compound bc it is brown, so the turquoise flame is unexpected.

Turns a flame green. Poisons plants.
Copper chloride. Pretty much the name says it all. When you want a copper salt that decomposes at a lower temperature than copper sulfate, this is your salt.
