Samyang Buldak (Korean) Hot Spicy Chicken Stir Fried Ramen (Noodles) 4.94 oz (Pack of 20)

I love these noodles and have them for lunch probably once a week or so. I usually make them without reserving any of the cooking liquid (just drain and stir), so the sauce is undiluted and pretty spicy. They have a really tasty flavor even beyond the heat, but there's no lack of heat either. My favorites are the original and carbonara. Original (black) don't feel too spicy immediately but the heat builds and then lingers for a few minutes after I finish. A fried egg or some leftover teriyaki on top will go a long way to cutting the heat, but I usually just have them by themselves. My son likes them as well, and he leaves out about a third of the included sauce to make them a touch milder. Carbonara (pink) have a slightly thicker noodle, less of the hot sauce, and an additional powdered sauce mix that cuts the heat a bit. They're equally tasty and don't have the lingering sting. Double (red) are too hot for me. I finished my first bowl but gave the rest of them away. The flavor was good, but don't go for these ones unless you're really good with heat.

This is the perfect balance of spice and flavor. The red 2x is too spicy to be able to enjoy the other flavors, but the black one is perfect. Always have this one in my pantry.

Definitely spicy and not for the faint of heart. But for the lover of all things spicy, this is a must try. Flavor and spice are well balanced and these noodles make a great base of a meal. I add a couple of fried eggs, some chicken, little bit of green onion and a dab of maple syrup to complete the meal.
