Q: Is this twine made in USA ?

That's very questionable. The label has an address for the company in Dallas TX but many of their products are made in China. They're a bit shady by saying the items are 'packaged in inspected' in USA but LEGALLY speaking that is NOT the same as 'MADE in USA'. When emailing the company for clarification, they don't reply. That's bad.

It's definitely much too thick for the numbered metal thread-crochet hooks but I assume you realized that. While it's not spun as tightly or as uniformly as actual cotton "yarn," it is roughly comparable, but maybe a little lighter than, Peaches n Creme or Bernat or another of the non-mercerized "kitchen cotton" type yarns... As with those yarns, I'd think a G or H hook would work, assuming your usual tension/gauge is "average."

As a meatcutter for 52 years with Safeway I would say this NOT butcher twine. Is more like big thread. I bone out turkeys and roll them and have to use dozens of wraps to succeed.
