When this tub arrived it had some glue from an old sticker on the lid. There were scratches and it seemed as though it had been used. Then, on the side of the tub was a sticker. This sticker was impossible to remove. I soaked it, and tried to wash it off, and the picture is the result. A nasty sticky mark on the tub that won't come off!!!! I do not recommend purchasing your rubbermaid tubs from this company!!!

Used to reheat some chicken, bottom of container melted after 1 minute of microwave heating, despite the product being described as microwave safe. Avoid purchasing this product and seek an alternative brand. Pictures attached.

These containers are amazing. Not only are they truly airtight (to the point that releasing them yields a whoosh of air entering the container) but they are easily cleaned with no staining. I originally purchased these to help organize my pantry, which they allowed me to do. Later, I purchased more because they are airtight and provide a level of confidence that has enabled me to move items kept in the refrigerator (to prevent bug infestation) on to the counter or into the pantry (flour, sugar, brown sugar, etc.). This has saved refrigerator room while allowing me to be confident that bugs can't get in! The versatility of the sizes and their stack-ability were pluses that resulted in me purchasing even more. I have completely replaced all my other containers with this product. I used them for storage of soups, stews, and taco meat with no staining and easy clean-up. I highly recommend this line of products for pantry, refrigerator, and food storage. This size is great for leftover stew, soup, and other items requiring refrigeration. While I have not tried them in the freezer (the opportunity has not presented itself yet), I am confident they would work there, too. I will likely buy more and hope that Rubbermaid keeps this line going for years to come!

On the heavier side but very well made. Use them for leftovers all the time.

I'm a fan of these containers since they actually do not stain (as advertised), not do they absorb smells like onions. I also really like how the lids are both airtight and watertight so they don't spill/leak or allow last night's leftovers to stink up the fridge overnight. I actually prefer the glass Rubbermaid containers and have reviewed them in the past, but not everyone in the house appreciates the extra weight of the glass bowls. That's where these come in. These containers nest well for storage and stack well when filled. Two smaller ones fit perfectly crosswise on the larger size making it easy to see what is in your refrigerator. Storing the lids is not quite as convenient, they don't stack all that well due to the side hinge pieces. My picture shows how the InterDesign Linus Lid Organizer for Kitchen Cabinet, Pantry Storage - Clear works in my cabinet. Each section holds four Brilliance lids so 8 small and 4 large. I needed more space for large lids but didn't have room for a second organizer, so I used a plain metal bookend facing the back of the cabinet to hold several more, shown in the third photo. You can also place the lids sideways in the appropriate container, shown in the last photo, but this method didn't work well in my cabinet space. I only have one complaint. They come out of the dishwasher with a TON of water spots, even when I have just filled the jet-dry dispenser. When I hand wash there is little or no spotting, so if the spots REALLY bothered me I could forgo putting them into the dishwasher. Since I know I cannot hand wash in water as hot as the dishwasher does, and getting up under the seal is time-consuming, I feel like they are actually cleaner even if they don't really look like it.

These work very well. They work so well, it is very difficult to get the lid off at times. If you are an older person, I would not recommend these solely based on the difficulty of removing the lid. That said, the lid makes the product work very well.
