Root Mushroom Farm - Mushroom Liquid Culture / Portobello (agaricus bisporus)

I really appreciated that this culture arrived quickly compared to the estimated shipping time. I put it in the fridge as soon as it arrived, as I wasn't quite ready to inoculate my grain spawn that day. Waited til the weekend and got my supplies set up, pulled out the syringe of culture and fully expected to have to shake it like mad (like all the video tutorials say you'll have to do) but the mycelium was already very well dispersed in the culturing solution. I still shook it a bit just for GP's but it looks very healthy in the syringe and I'm very excited to see my grain spawn start to culture with mycelium!

This syringe worked. Only used 5cc on a grain bag. Inoculated 1/7 and saw it starting to colonize yesterday.

I inoculated 2 bags and a culture jar and have seen zero growth from the portabella. I attempted to contact the seller and a few days ago but have heard nothing back. I also purchased maitake at the same time from this seller and the spawn bag is colonizing fast but the portabella is doing nothing. I bet the culture got too cold in storage or was old. Either way Id like money back or a replacement that actually works. Seller contacted me and said he will replace. I will change my review if the new syringe works

I ordered a mono tub as I am planning on retiring and want a little hobby. Well received the tubule and contents right on time. Promelem was I didn’t read closely enough to know I needed spores. Now problem researched them said this type will grow in manure base. It didn’t. I ask why they said wrong king of mushroom. I emailed again seeking some advice. I got zero. Not w company I would deal with again.
