Can't say enough good things about this fan. Easiest set up I've come across on a ceiling fan. Perfectly packaged, easy to follow instructions. Works flawlessly, plenty of air flow, looks really nice, motor is completely silent, light is bright and steps up and down very smooth. The remote is easy to use. Even included one extra type of screw in case you lose one during install, hang hooks to use during installation. The only change I'd like to see is that the fan doesn't have a memory function. So when you hit the wall switch to turn it on, the light comes on as you left it but the fan has to be restarted. Minor detail. Way better than other fans I've spent 2-3x as much on.

I love this fan. I replaced it for my old rattan 52” fan and I wish I’d done it sooner. It’s sleek and streamline and looks just perfect on my somewhat narrow porch. So glad I changed it out and I’m glad I didn’t get the 52” the 42” fits perfectly. I didn’t do the work myself. I had to hire my handyman, but he said it was unbelievably simple to install. Great buy! There is absolutely no noise, has a remote control and you can adjust the settings. Fantastic quality.

Updated: FANSTASTIC Customer Service !! For some reason the light stopped working, emailed seller and explained what happened and without asking, they offered to send me a new lamp replacement. The replacement arrived within a few days. Easy to replace and have my fan working again. Amazing purchase ! Bought this for it's sleek look and was quite impressed. I arrived in a timely fashion(next day) and it was a very small box. It was all very well packaged, with instructions which were very clear and perfectly legible. It took me about 25-35 minutes to install and add a new light switch as well (can't have a light dimmer switch). Since I've installed it, it's only been on the #2 fan speed and it's enough for me during the evening. Pros: sits almost flush to ceiling, low profile (about 9" total), bright light (3 options: cool, normal and warm) which can be cycled using the remote control to turn off/on until you reach your desired light setting, VERY quiet fan even on fastest speed setting, no need to balance the blades (amen) so no wobble, price (big box didn't have anything close to being as nice for the price) Cons: none as of yet, the only thing I would mention is that my unit is black and the screws that hold the unit to the mounting plate are chrome, me being OCD, I had to paint them black as well. Resuming: It's definitely worth it if you wish to have a quiet, sleek ceiling fan in your room, I put them in 2 of our bedrooms.

Great fan. Moves lots of air while being quiet. Had to make a slight adjustment as it rubbed on the light at first but it works great now.

I rarely do these. But I have to say, this little fella is worth it. 42in is a perfect size for my smaller home. My house is very old so adding new fixtures is like opening Pandora’s box. This fit nicely where it should. It screwed right into the existing bracket box in the ceiling with no issues. I would have liked a ceiling mounted bracket to attach the base to for my ceiling retention, but this holds fine. Super quiet. My suggestion if installing alone, is work backwards and add the blades and light last. I did a dry run with it to know how it assembles. Then separately mounted the ceiling cover, then hooked up the motor, then screwed on the blades and slid on the light. Air flow is wildly impressive for the price. I don’t have to set it to above a 4. The light is bright for an overhead, day light, soft white and a warm white.

Purchased a 42" white fan and was so pleased with it, I ordered a second one! Pros - very easy to install...took my husband about 30 minutes, start to finish. Fan moves a terrific amount of air...as much as our larger units. And it's super quiet, even on the highest speed. At most, it's more the sound of the air moving than any noticable motor sound. And it has a great, minimalist style...just what I wanted. Not really cons, but things to know- As mentioned by others, the light is quite bright. By flipping the switch on/off within 10 seconds, you can change the "color" to more warm to cut down on the brightness, but it is not dimmable. The instructions on the first one we put up were pretty vague, but the second one had a better set...go figure! We've installed lots of fans, so didn't take much to figure it out. Just make sure you have the little antenna, which communicates with the remote, on the control box upright when you put it inside the housing unit. Speaking of remotes, this also comes with a small bracket to mount on the wall or wherever convenient to keep track of the remote! My only complaint is that even though it is a white fan housing, the mounting bracket is black.At first glance, it appears to be totally covered by the fan housing. BUT it has anti-vibration pads on the top -which is great- but when placed against the ceiling electrical box, the pads hold it down from the ceiling at least 1/4". Not that big of a deal...if it was white. The black, however, is very noticeable. So before installing the second unit, I removed the bracket and gave it a couple of quick coats of white spray paint. The perfectionist in me is much happier! ( I attached a pic of the part I painted) Also, qudos to the seller! The 2nd unit arrived with a bent bracket which holds the light unit. There was no way to fix it. But within 24 hours of contacting the seller, via Amazon, a new fan was on its way and we received it 2 days later. Fantastic customer service!!! There aren't any reasons I can think of to pass on this fan.

excellent fan just as good as fans that cost twice the price

Minimalistic modern look. Relatively easy to put together and install. The only trouble we had was the light didn't work at first because one of the tiny wires inside the connector got bent. We were able to get the wire straight with a tiny eyeglass screwdriver and reconnect it, and then the light worked fine. The light is bright as hell. It has cool (blueish white light), regular (daylight), and warm (yellowish orange light) settings. All of them are very bright. This is in a bedroom so we probably wont use the light very much. The fan settings are great. Very quiet. Moves a lot of air. Remote comes with holder to mount on wall.
